A good humble start! :D Some more tips: Sidorovich (the trader in Rookie Village) is a ripoff. He usually sells stuff overpriced and gives you very little for selling stuff, so don't buy stuff from him if you can help it (especially medicine is super expensive when not bought from a Medic/Doctor). There is another trader a bit further north in the Farm, wich is a good early game base as well since its more centered. If you press and hold interact key (F by default) it shows names of loose items you can pick up, makes it easier seeing some of the tings if they are well hidden. If you get missions where you have temporary companions use them to knock out multiple more difficult missions like clearing out camps or taking out mutants. And in general try to take on all missions that are available even if it seems like you might not be able to do them right away (Though i would skip things like bringing Controller Brains or some of the artifact ones if you do not have them) and dont be afraid to leave Cordon (Cordon, Garbage and Great Swamps are all pretty safe generally speaking). Mutant and especially Hitman Contracts can solve themselves sometimes because of the alife ai, so its always worth taking them for later. Good luck in the Zone, Stalker !
Bolts can be used to discharge anomalies (like electra) for a short time, or to detect them in order to safely pass by. You can also make them endless in the settings if you want, I don’t remember what is the default. In fact, I would certainly recommend going through the original games Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat (Clear Sky is more of a battle of factions) to gain experience, it’s up to you.
Fun video! I've been watching a lot of stalker content and I enjoy your pace and commentary! If there's anything to critique, I would say the sound got way too loud when hunting the boars, and maybe just make the video longer
That’s very nice to hear, thank you. I kind of felt it was too loud, I’ll keep that in mind down the road.. And of course, longer videos seem appropriate when it comes to this game so I got you👍🏼 I appreciate the constructive criticism 😄
Good afternoon/ good night to you! Have you played The Finals play test on steam yet? I’m curious to see what you think of it and if you’ll make a video about it?
Hey there friend😄! It surely sounds familiar, so I might have seen it but I can’t tell. I will however take a look at it, I always appreciate ideas on new games.. thank you😎
A good start, we even dealt with the boars, although Fanat and I died 1-2 times. Everything you find, cards and other things, you can sell or keep for yourself (store in a box), and different merchants also buy at different prices those things that are more interesting to them. A technician buys more expensive spare parts, mutant body parts and meat from a hunter at a landfill. As for cards, we Russians really play cards a lot, although I think this happened before.
You need to take into account what caliber of ammo your guns use and even what type of that ammo you specifically want to use for what you're up against. 9x18 with fmj is going to be super weak against mutants and even lightly armored stalkers.
Honestly hydroshock is your best freind and will kill even some late game mutants reasonably, its plentiful and cheap so I'd recommend fixing any gun with it chambered like the 1911 colt
If you don’t care about money in this game and want to skip the grind just to learn more, lower your buy rate in setting and raise the sell rate. Then some merchants you can buy their stuff and sell it back for profit
@@fpsbaaron I don't reccomend lowering it to the point where you can buy and resell, as even with standard settings once you get the hang of it you can earn a lot of money along the way whilst still having fun and exploring lots! I'd say the major bottleneck isn't money but better equipment (and skill) ^^
Anything below 60 percent in parts ain't worth keeping for repairing anything. Keep low tier suits for disguise that you can easily repair with sewing kits to 100 percent along with any mask.
A good humble start! :D

Another gem of advice, this will definitely come in handy down the road😊I really appreciate it!

Oh really😅I’ll be damned, even the smallest bolts come in handy!
Appreciate it!

I’m new to the game as well, I’m having a blast tho!
I really enjoy the fact that it makes me feel like an absolute beginner :D
And sorry for my English😅
You’re good, not my main language either😅

Nice one. Are you using any reshade? Your game looks really good.
Thank you, yeah I do.. not sure what the reshade is called but all I know I installed the Gamma mod pack over the Anomaly version :)

Alright so it’s really that thought out!
I had no idea but I will make sure to keep that in mind, that’s why my pistol did no damage😅
@@fpsbaaron read the tooltips that appear when you hover your mouse on items and ammo. Will probably give you some insight on what it does/is for.

I actually had no idea one could do that, thank you I’ll definitely do that since I like the exploration part more than the grind😄

Appreciate all the knowledge I can get, thanks pal!
