Those tdp numbers are worthless numbers that don't give the full picture until you see reviews. 95c under normal productivity load on high end air and liquid. I can assure you 12th gen 12600/700 is not under the same circumstances/setup.

OUR FASTEST CHIP YET ! people time goes quicker than you think WAIT be PATIENT , I have loved learning the 2nd hand laptop market now they decent with GPU's , Im rocking a 1050ti with 176 pc games PROPER GAMES installed (3.8 TB) on my ASUS GL505GE 1050ti , It has enough entertainment for 3-4 years and I play many games , so for another 3 years im set then , 3 yrs I can get a 3060ti cheap and then play that for 3 years . constantly only a small leap behind but saving a fortune

just alder lake w/ oxidation and built in chip-cooking features commercial alder lake itself bring a complexity that turns into instability, raptor lake improved it w/ several features
i wish in the future they could also solve the heating and more power consumption issues and make chips that could perform faster without consuming more power and heating issues. hope that day comes soon. maybe they focus on this now for the time being rather making 14th or 15th gen with even more power consumption chips. dont you think?

Did you use the stock cooler ..if so dont these arent those 2 core i7 processors like before any modern i7 /i9 would need an aftermarket cooler .. i5 12400 is fine but it may not reach its best

Hi! I'm running on i9 13900F + a 420mm AIO cooler. In idle the CPU is at 30-32 degrees, but during heavy gaming it goes up to 92+ degrees while I have all the cores enabled. If I disable half of the cores in bios I get about 85-87 degrees maximum, not much better and this quite beats the purpose of having so many cores on the CPU. What options do I have to keep all cores enabled and also drop the temp to under 80 degrees at full load? So far, after trying many things I'm very tempted to downgrade to an i5...
update your bios soon As Intel released the fixes to prevent your i9 13th gen from becoming unstable due to overvoltage which causes the entire Intel instability saga. If it is unstable, RMA the CPU

They do use lots of power but heat ? Im using an air cooler for i7 12700k (not an expensive cooler like noctua or dark rock ) ...fine temps

I bought the 12700f and it died within 14 days now waiting for the replacement. Hope I will get it soon. This processors sure do run hot.
