Ah boy! I feel for ya! I remember I saved my allowance for a whole month to buy baseball cards and I got NOTHING but re-petes! I was so upset!! I was determined to get my money back so I sold my entire collection to my cousin Eddy. I only had about 50 cards he really wanted, but I would only sell if I bought them ALL! He lived in a bigger city and he had a lot of trader friends and he made the money back easily trading the cards he did not want. I never bought any cards again, Pokemon nor any other fad card collections! I did spend my money on comics you knew what you were buying and if you missed an "episode" or could not afford it when it came out there were a lot of places to fill in your gaps. More people collected comics than cards when I was a kid!

I ended up getting NFC tags so I can just make my own cards for the ACNH animals I want to invite. Don’t get the collectible amiibo cards that way but at least I don’t have to worry about not getting my faves!
