Honestly, this was the act that I struggled the most, I think if you don't have a farm it could make it a bit harder, but its definitely possible, try to save money to place your units with no upgrade and when boss gets out of range, sell and replace them, this way you'll max your damage for cheaper
Sorry for the wait the funny thing is that most of the time I was actually playing lol but I did macro too yeah (I used tinytask) I did shibuya infinite to get gems
