    WCQ has really matured now, pgysically and mentally (learned a lot from match ban for throwing racket). He's so balanced with self-control and staying cool now. (@ 10:35 , 11:40 ) Actually, besides top skills, high level consistency and strong, focused mentality are the final frontiers for indisputable champions. See LGL @ 21:27 ,so convinced, think he's decided to enlist WCQ for the Durban event. BTW, Harimoto is a very talented player but once he loses focus, his eagle deflates then quickly collapses to disaster. The Chinese experts say mentality is a very important part of training which maintains focus, consistency then leads to recovery/rebound/comeback. Guess coaching is the greatest asset for the Chinese CNT (men & women). WTT's at XinXaing & Macao (Bangkok next) are the testing grounds for CNT selection in Durban and Paris 2024 TT events. Best wishes and congrats to all players who put those wonderful matches together.

    The first two games were tight and so was the first half of the third game, but something awakened inside WCQ and the rest of the match became one-sided. Congrats to him and hopefully Harimoto can do better next time!

    Scream no more

    • @lejazzetmoi1775
      @lejazzetmoi1775 Рік тому +4

      harimoto's screams not only sound harsh, but also deadens the sense of momentum (for the audience). after a while the feel of a build-up gets lost with sameness, with the exact same cho-ley point after point, no matter if he breaks an opponent's run, or coming from behind and catching up, whether at 9-6, 10-10 or at 0-0. (except at the last game, when he just gave up.)
      but it seemed like the screaming audiopeaks were reduced or ducked or something, which made it more pleasurable (less irritable) to hear/watch.

    If we observe this match in a boxing sense, the screamer became a punching bag. This is the result of not having the power to keep his opponent at a distance. The screamer needs to adjust his footwork to support his forehand shots. His forehand so far is a one-shot deal. His tactics ran into a dead end street against steady offensive players. When the screamer adjusts his tactics to attack more with his forehands, he will end up losing to lower-ranked players. But that will be the start of something instead of going nowhere being a blocker.
    If the screamer wants to be the best in the world, this is one risk he has to face.

    • @sagarsawant3955
      @sagarsawant3955 Рік тому

      That is good insight but for your information the screamer is currently no 3 in the world. What do you mean by been world best? He is already there...😊

      That was by ranking. Players' ranking is only a # game. There are tons of players who can triumph over the screamer in any match, day, or tournament.
      Harimoto needs to rely more on his forehand side. If he doesn't, he won't go anywhere. I believe he wants to be the best in the world. Being a blocker won't get him there.
      Remember Xu Xin. What chance the screamer had against Xu Xin? Because of the screamer's attitude is to block his opponents to death. Players similar to Xu Xin would love to drive the ball stroke after stroke to break down his blocking defense.

    • @sagarsawant3955

      @@benthekeeshond545 what do u mean it is by matches played? He has to still beat those players to gain ranking points.
      Xu Xin is exceptional but Harimoto use to give him.good match.

      @benthekeeshond545 Рік тому +1

      @@sagarsawant3955
      From what I can recall, he came close to beating Xu Xin once. He lost that one, again, because he missed a block during a match point against Xu Xin. That was only possible because Xu Xin didn't play well and had an off day. They played around 10 times with one close match and the rest of them no chance.
      Harimoto won against some players to get his ranking. But not against the players such as Wang Chuqin, Ma Long, Fan Zhendong, and definitely not Xu Xin. Also, there are many secondary Chinese national players that are able to turn the screamer upside down.

      When i first watch the steamer i couldnt stand him, so anoying. But i want to buy i new blade and i find out that The Screamers blade best situate for me by the reviews. So i start watching him and find out his game os base on The Mind.. later i read about Sremer and find out that he is Chines. His parents were both profesional table tennis players. His father and mother start to train him from 2 age. His father start to build his style and life from early age thinking about every aspcet of his game and pshicality, he also made a blade for his game and style and wich is good for his ability. The Screamer beat 1000 ranked player at age 11. The screamer is the youngest Grand Final champion in history with 15 years. The screamer is youngest ITTF winer ever with 14 year old. The creamer become the youngest Japanise champion beting back to back Ma Long and Zhang Jike 2018 when he was 14.
      So thank you for opinion. With you oppinion he will become much better player and theirs father and mother can lear about coaching somethin new. Becouse they do their job bad.. you are the almight the chosen one😉

      He's weak in mentality control and balance, too anxious with strong eagle to win (might be under tremendous family pressure to beat China for revenge). If he stays focused and cool (probalby never, always screaming when winning), he could become another GO.A.T. on the other hand, ML, FZD, Timo are all cool guys. Even WCQ now has learned so much discipline after the match ban (lucky outcome for him, really). After all, consistency and strong mentality are the final frontiers for undeniable champions.
