Been using it since inferno extra two slots because a) it’s good 2) it’s cheap and didn’t want to get more 5 stars. Also considering unless you are a big whale, having one or two awakened slots for reduced cds on specific skills is better than an extra 200 reso if you had a 5 star to rank 5or6 It’s worth noting that you might want to invest in some citrines to up your potency to 2.5/2.8k for bgs
If I am not wrong it almost looks like worthy proc if you have higher graphics settings otherwise it has no animation and it has those small little stun balls on top of head, but they seem to be blue, tbh its too difficult to see in heat of battle most of the time... But that said it still does help you even if you don't notice it!
If the DH is blasting from max range unfortunately no, but its really close to reach there so most of the time it will work Now if you are DH and you get jumped this can easily save you if you react fast enoug!
