Ollie has been great so far. Unfortunately the livestream software only recorded 720p and I'd have to pay more than twice as much for 1080p. I'm going to research other options or maybe just make my screen bigger next time.
I wonder if you had selected the inner group of the template part and replaced the design pattern instead of the template pet itself, then it will sync globally.

Your header changed because you picked a different header patter. I think that’s expected because it has a new name.
Ah. Yeah, you can see your header template pet name is different. So, the behavior is expected. I think that’s why I sometimes prefer to edit the template part in the abstracted state, not within the whole page context. Then you know you are editing the blocks within the template part and not swapping it for a completely different template part.
Yeah I think that all makes sense.
I wonder if it's smarter for the theme to bundle these header options as patterns, not template parts.
OR what would make more sense: when you "replace" a template part they could give you the option to "replace here or replace globally" and it would replace that template part anywhere it's used on the site.
