This Bolt on Hooks gauge has worked on my 1, 2 and now 3 E series. On The E series, since the loader does not have disconnects, the HST has a coupler "test" port that dead heads the "curl up" on the joystick. Works slick!

Firebird, can you give some more specifics? I’m interested on testing the pressure on my 3series.
      Thanks

We bought this from u guys a few years ago.Works great,I have a question. We have an excavator that runs good and after about 5 min we start to lose power in the hydraulic, has nothing to do with engine .hooked up tester to check main relief valve ,for first five minutes it has about 2500 psi of pressure after that drops down to a little over 2000 psi of pressure .What would cause this

      Jay,
YT comments are not really the place for tech questions. But...is sounds like your pump is going out.

Kenny, any idea when these gauges are coming back in stock?

Not sure, waiting on the "gauge" part from my supplier, they are backorderd.

You show removing all the lines. Could you just remove one port for an accurate reading?

I tested my 3025E and it is only reading 2250 pressure, Can you give me an idea of how to adjust the pressure?

That info is in the tech manual, or you can get help on the GTT forum, I can't give tech advice in a UA-cam comment.

MNicehole, that procedure varies depending on the machine, so it’s best to get the proper technical manual and read the proper way to do that.

A great tutorial explaining how to loose your hands or become blind, you forgot to mention that the only way the hydraulic oil can go is to your eyes or inside your veins. PLEASE do not test like this guy is showing us hydraulics is something that we have to handle with care, gloves and eye protections must be wear on before trying to do this check up. The gauge needs to be away from the technician in order to avoid an accident of course you have to see a way to have a clear read but SAFETY FIRST PEOPLE

As a retired aircraft mechanic with 40 yrs experience with hydraulic systems, I have to say that Ken was very professional. Quick disconnects on tractors with standard bleeding procedures make changing implements a snap and safe. As far as gages go, Ken had chosen a gage with a 100% safety margin. This does not take into account the safety margin that the gage manufacture had built in. You can learn about gages here if you are still concerned. blog.wika.com/knowhow/overload-safety-of-bourdon-tube-pressure-gauges/
