Wow! new subscriber as of today. I stayed because of my kids. I made the decision to take all the low blows of life as possible to protect my kids. If I left, I’d probably had to work and leave my kids. I would not be able to drive them to the school they liked miles away from us. I stayed to enjoy my kids. Now my oldest is in the Navy and hardly see him. But I thank God that I got as much time as I could when he was growing up. My second child is a senior in high school and my daughter a junior. I finally let go of my ex. I felt in my heart it was time and to trust. I don’t know what life has for me but I take it day by day and keep enjoying my kids as much as I can, but now without my ex. I do have to say that I don’t regret choosing my kids back then over me. Because time went by and now I’m finally free. My kids told me the other day that the school I took them to back before high school was their best experience even though we drove miles every day. I knew I had made the best decision at that time. This year will be my year!
