You can switch, nothing wrong. But don’t take my word, instead go for a test ride if possible. Maybe try your friend’s road bike and see the issues involved, these days lots of cycle shops are also having rental bikes, maybe you can try out for a few days. I know here in chennai, some shops have bicycle rental options. If speed is your thing, then go for road bike

Yeah, You are right! That's why I think going for Firefox Aeron or Triban Rc 120 is better choice. I forgot to mention that in video.
Actually when I brought Suncross, that time it was 25k! so, getting a clarius gears shifters and internal cable was a better option at that time. 😁
But stil no problem .u can upgrade the 8 speed cassatte having 11 teeth. Like 11-28

I used a hybrid bike for a year before switching to a road bike, it depends upon your fitness level as well. If you are cycling from a while then going for them is fine

Hello Ajay.....You didn't mention Hero octane iguana 700×c ....it should be there in the top 5 Everytime. It has internal cabling, Shimano claris front and rear derailleur, tektro brakes, also light weighted. It's much better than Rc 120 .
Hello, Yes you are totally right that bike have these really great features but actually my friend brought this bike in July this year and he faced some problems in first month itself! So, I was little dicey in putting that bike in this list. I don't want to suggest someone something that I know can give problems in future.
If you see my vlogs, My riding partner have RC120 and that is around 2 yrs old now and he had no problems with that bike 😄

No, It's around 10 months now and no problem in this bike so far! 😄 I had two crash also and it survived no repair done! So, the frame is quite strong 🤞

Yes, Most bikes don't have the slot! But their are some mud guards for road bikes as well but to be honest I was unable to find them online or offline. I saw some GCN videos where they used mud guards.

We have two options, flat bar and drop bar in RC100. You may try Flat bar bike 😄
If you already got flat and want to make it drop, then yes it is possible by changing the handle bar, gear shifters, and brake levers
Quick review however I thought the cheapest road bike in the market with aloy frame, alloy forks and almost same specs as suncross racer star will be covered but disappointed it's not reviewed here... Viva Cruiser 700c

Hello, You can try Riverside 120 from decathlon. That is a Hybrid bike but you don't worry for weight I was also 110 kgs and I did long rides on a hybrid bike to lose weight till 74kgs!

Many people are takling about of not mentioning VIVA cruiser 700, beleive me that cycle looks good from outside but a heck of dissapointment from inside! The frame has started to acquire rust within a year and break callipers are not up to the mark. Viva is a cheap chinese bike so you can judge it easily! Mostly I think that Viva has discontinued manufacturing 700c cruiser model.

I think you may try first to get a drop bar price in the market then select a bike. if we have a drop bar under 2k then you may buy a hybrid and convert that to road bike. 🙌😄

I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
