After having gathered feedback from various people after the last update, we decided to revisit DoG a bit on the side to see what could be improved about him. While it wasn't really worth including in the trailer, I do believe that the changes made to him are still worth taking note of (and maybe even worth revisiting the boss as a whole!). With that said, I wish everyone a good time exploring this update and fighting some of my favourite boss fights of all time! ❤ PS - Have a changelog as well for good measure: *=Balancing=* -Reduced the damage of the Devourer's lasers, essence slices and cosmic fireballs -Reduced the duration of the DoT debuffs on the cosmic fireballs -Drastically reduced the Devourer's head contact damage in all phases to still deal immense damage to you but no longer oneshot you without a dodge and/or an unrealistically tanky loadout -Fixed a bug that caused the Devourer to take twice as much damage as he should, meaning that he will be much less easily meltable on this version *=Qualitative Changes=* -Made non-ram dashes also slow the Devourer of Gods down [NOTE: this feature is difficult to balance properly due to the nature of this boss, so it may have turned out a little weird, I'd recommend using a ram dash anyhow] -added a potential fix for coiling. Not guaranteed to work, though -Reduced the Devourer of Gods' agility in all phases, especially the first one -Made the Devourer perform his essence slices below 70% HP as opposed to below 50% -Reduced the amount of essence slices per ring -Made the Devourer back up a bit before continuing his charges after essence slices -Removed the homing on cosmic fireballs, made them accelerate, greatly increase the amount spawned per portal dash and split them into two differently offset rings to make this attack more interesting to dodge -Gave the Devourer of Gods a few moments of complete invulnerability after exiting his portal after the special attacks or after the perpendicular portal attack to prevent him from being deleted by piercing weapons -Made the devourer spawn his portal after his special attacks above you rather than besides you to give you a better chance at positioning yourself properly from it -Added a new attack to add some more variety to the fight

@@themightycxzeriallord for this time there were 2 preety items dropped by exo mech The exo box which is infinit fast/slow precise fly and something else that makes adrenaline heals you instead of doing more dmg and taking hit don't reset it So with these 2 items she was pretty easy you can try them if you are having difficulty but I don't know what difficulty they are in like expert or revengance And for skill issue no worries i remember when expert mode was so hard to me when it released now even death mode is easy hahaha
This mod in a nutshell: "do you want your ahh kicked, your brain molten, and your calamity experience to be touhou?" Me: "no" Also that mod: "ah well. Worth a shot. You do have access to the difficulty in select difficulty hexagon you know." No hitters: " *LET ME AT THEM LET ME AT THEM* !"
I absolutely love the way the Exo Mechs work together as a genuine trio (quartet) to fight the player, as opposed to just having them all attack similtaniously.

They all had fresh new ideas for summoning and arenas, and had unique drops and epic soundtracks. They are amazing bosses. I can't even imagine what the calamity devs are up to. It's going to be amazing.
I have to be dreaming, these two look simply astonishing. I genuinely can't see these being any better than they are without not even feeling like the same bosses anymore, well done.
Seeing the mechs sync with each other is something that i always thinked they should do rather than a almost randomized bullet hell. The arena for Scal its pretty cool too, really good job to the team. Keep the good work!
I like how fight with supreme calamitas in this video starts from lyrics 'The end has come'. I've got a goosebumps, jeez! And the fight itself is just INSANE! This is awesome. Thank you for this mod.
My favorite aspect of this is how the expo mechs now have unique combo attack patterns depending on which two are up at a time, makes the fight have so much room for creativity and possibilities and not a drop was wasted, bravo infernum team, bravo. Also unique death animations are such a sexy touch.

All i have to say is that THIS WHOLE MOD IS 1 OF THE BEST MODS I HAVE EVER SEEN... and it makes Calamity MORE painful which i like. Huge thanks to infernum mod team for making a whole mod that makes terraria calamity mod even harder. All i have to add is that this will be worth every minute i will spend on playing it...

Honestly shocking knowing that theres still papa Yharim left as a final FINAL boss of calamity...glad the team's taking their sweet time with his boss battle, it's going to be amazing when he finally arrives...whenever that will be.
This is truly incredible, my only complaint is that SCaL wasnt made into a true touhou bullet hell boss with spellcards but thats just personal preference. Truly an astounding job by the team and everyone who worked on this.

After playing malice mode once and immediately throwing up because of how horrible exo mechs really were, I am pleasantly surprised that these attacks are actually possible to dodge. Bravo, infernum team.
Malice wasn't really a good difficulty and I'm glad the calamity team decided to remove it. Death mode is still incredibly challenging while being fair. This looks like a whole new level and honestly,? Hope these guys hook in with the calamity team and infernum is added as the malice replacement
Quick question i have about infernum. The building structures for the bosses. Do they only form upon a world created with the mod enabled or can they be generated in an already made world?
I have a question about the mod. Are damage values modified to account for the amount of hits you're gonna be taking on more "bullet-helly" bosses? I want to try the mod out, especially the SCal fight, but I really don't want to deal with Calamity's boss balancing.

@@vortex_talon hi sorry for being late but apparently there's no way to upload modded worlds and such on the workshop,but it is known and will probably be worked on,I just don't know when since I'm not involved with tmod's development.
