My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless.
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.
Is there any chance you could recommend who you work with? I've wanted to make this switch for a very long time now, but I've been very hesitant about. I'll appreciate any recommendation.
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
Thanks a lot for this recommendation. I just looked her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
The wait between part 1 & part 2 was excruciating, cheers once again
If there’re super investors, then the market is really rewarding, how do they go about it though? I do want to get in but don’t know proper methods to work with. Picking and selecting got me perplexed.
Indeed, I know for a fact anyone making profit off the market is sure to be consistent and have experience on your side, meaning you’ll have to become a lifelong learner
Everyone has gotten different means of approach, one move that’s gotten my portfolio doing good numbers, is getting a CFP, his insights always manage to stay ahead of the curve giving profit worthy results.
It’s impressive his resume when you google his name, thanks for leaving this here.
Blcktken300 gang in the house! Thanks for the analysis!
Hit 80k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with 5k.
I have heard about John Hook excellent trading expertise in CNBC news, guess he's more popular in united states.
The crypto crash is a good lesson for you to start forex investments as soon as possible. Get into forex right away
That's a solid list! I'm also big on Blcktken300 , avalanche, algo, and matic too.
Wasn't Alex Becker a private investor for Project Blcktken300 . It's been killing it lately. Do you think it's still got room to move.
Right now is the ideal moment to buy more and more, but only for those who know where to look though. During the last market correction, I made over $610k in profits alone, and I even managed to do it with ease in a weak economy. Guys, get to buying.
I agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience.
True. This is why I work with an investment advlsor. I currently have $790k in a well-diversified portfollo that has experienced exponential growth and is well-matched for every season of the market. We are now working on a more figures ballpark goal this year.
@josephbush May I know the name of the advsor who has been assisting you, please?
She's a "Heather Lee Larioni", also maintains an online presence. Just make a simple search for her name online.
Thanks for this. Found her and looked through her credentials before contacting her. Once again many thanks.
Joseph, thank you so MUCH for including Brad Gerstner. I love this series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
You have the best investing channel on UA-cam right now. Keep it up!
Joseph, I have a small correction: Monish Pabrai did invest in coal, but not all of those are 'energy' companies. There are two major types of coal, thermal coal and metallurgical coal. Thermal coal (produced by companies like CEIX, ARLP, BTU) is what we associate with energy and is used for heating/electricity. Metallurgical coal, produced by companies like ARCH, AMR, HCC, BTU (again), is used for the production of steel in blast furnaces. There are alternative means of steel production such as electric arc furnaces using scrap metal or some newer hydrogen based methods. But for now (and a few more decades), we rely on mixing iron with coking coal (another word for met coal). Accordingly, you will find that some of those companies are classified as 'Basic Materials' rather than energy. Typically it is thermal coal which is more controversial and targeted by those concerned with the climate / ESG.
(I'm an investor very happy with his bet on met coal and AMR last year, and am currently long HCC)
Kathy Wood having Roblox in her innovation ETF is hilarious😂
Kathie Wood is hilarious. Not as hilarious as the people that buy her ETFs tho.
This channel is my Netflix 🍿
Glad you added Brad, he's one I really like to follow. He did recently add Paypal in hopes the company can turn around and "get fit".
Thank you, Joseph. Watching your every single upload, you are my best source of stock knowledge. Keep it up!
dude is doing every video category with way more quality than other financial youtubers. love ur style keep doing as u see best
They just announced AMZN is being added to the dow (replacing Walgreens). No surprise many superinvestors hold it.
Recently started following love the content and concepts being taught & discussed! New favorite channel
Thanks for sharing, great video and it's very informative.
Brad Gerstner is my fav hedge fund manager! I shamelessly cloned his top holdings in my port and dca into them when they dip. Glad he is finally getting recognition.
great content Joseph! Keep up the good work!
Thx for content
Joseph, Brad at Altimeter bought into snowflake pre-Ipo. He runs private equity funds as well. His cost basis is much much lower
That makes sense. Because as much as I liked snowflake I couldn’t wrap my head around paying the IPO price for a new holding.
I want a balanced portfolio with growth investments, safe investments, and also focus on dividends to gain up to $20K monthly, my concern is picking the right stocks that can survive a recession. How do i go about this Joseph?
In this current unstable markets, It is advisable to diversify while retaining 70-80% in secure investments. looking at the worth of your portfolio, you should consider financial advisory.
Agreed, my portfolio is well-matched for every market season yielding 85% from early last year to date. I and my advisr are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take another year. IMO, financial advisors are the most sought-after professionals after doctors.
I’ve been down a ton, I’m only holding on so I can recoup, I really need help, who is this investment-adviser that guides you
NICOLE DESIREE SIMON is the licensed coach I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Thank you for this Pointer. It was easy to find your handler, She seems very proficient and flexible. I booked a call session with her.
Thanks for the update!
Love your content and all research very helpful on my small investment
Fantastic work. Thank you!!!
Very informative and educative video!
Congratulations!
I love your content Joseph!!!!!
Great content!
This is great, thanks for sharing.
Great Vid!
Joseph, on qualtrim I noticed a stock that Gerstner has MELI it says it has a free cashflow yeild of 5%... is this a mistake? Or is Meli very undervalued? One to look into maybe...
I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on the potential for the eVTOL industry (JOBY, ACHR, etc). Please touch on this in a future episode. 🙏🏻
Great video, love when you do these kind of videos.
Hi Joseph Great Video. Which Website do yo use track portafolios? Thanks.
Thank you 👍👍👍
I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my portfolio for retirement. I'm seeking to invest $200K across markets but don't know where to start.
While the current market offers short-term profit potential, it's crucial to note that executing such a strategy requires expertise and skill.
You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.
impressive gains! how can I get your advisor please, if you dont mind me asking? I could really use a help as of now
Evelyn Alicia Schoenholtz' is the licensed coach I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

what website is this information on?
Thanks you!
I've heard some analysts talk about a 'massive' correction. It makes me wonder if it's time to adjust my $2M portfolios or maybe even consider some defensive investments.
great video
As always, a great analysis. Newcomers often wonder if it's too late to navigate the financial market, but the market is always unpredictable. Trading has more advantages than simply holding, so it's important to learn before diving in. Active trades are necessary to ride the market's waves. Thanks to Flora Elkin’s insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings, managed to grow a nest egg of around 127k to a decent 532k. Kudos to the journey ahead!
I've just looked up her full name on my browser and found her webpage without sweat, very much appreciate this
It's unexpected to come across her name here. She understands every beginner’s intention and fix you to a trading course that matches your capacity, she knows her stuff! Her advice has been invaluable to my trading journey. Definitely worth giving a shot!
It is really refreshing to see a comment about Flora Elkin.I have worked with her also for months now, reached out after reading more about her on the internet. she simplifies matters, whether it's a market surge or drop; her approach consistently keeps you ahead of the trend, She's a guru i'll say
Investing has proven to be an incredibly beneficial decision. My cryptocurrency profits continue to play a substantial role in growing my overall wealth, reducing my reliance on my salary
Nice to see this here, Flora Elkin's understanding of market indicators is impressive. She knows exactly when to enter and exit trades for maximum profit. her siignals are top notch
Can someone check if qualtrium works on norwegian stocks?
Like your channel! Keep going 💪
Thanks for introducing us to Brad Gerstner. I think his portfolio was pretty interesting, might be a good follow. I also wasn't aware of Whale Wisdom so thank you for that also.
Agreed with u on Katie
Just buy and buy more and more and more in the next correction. For those who know where to look though. I made over $910k in profits alone during the last crash and even pulled it off with ease in a bad economy.
I agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience.

Terry Smith european positions are also huge and very interesting!
and those 40 mentioned are probably not all his picks. fundsmith equity just has 27 holdings. other fundsmith vehicles probably make up the other 13.
Hi Joseph!
Can you make an analysis about AXP? Why dont you own it, or even put in your watchlist?
Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits, such as regularly setting aside money for sound investments.
Wow!! I am surprised that his name is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon some of his clients testimonies on CNBC news last week..
Like you, I cannot get myself to buy SNOW because of valuation.
I was waiting for part 2 and it felt like waiting for GTA 6😩 but finally here it is!!!
Terry Smiths largest holding is not Microsoft. It is Novo Nordisk. You only show his US holdings which is misleading.
I've owned NVDA for over 8 years. It's been up and down, but I believe in Jensen Huang and will stick with NVDA until Jensen says otherwise. I know that sounds crazy, but when the financial statements/Jensen, (same to me) tell me to sell, I will. I'm sure I won't sell at the top, but that's OK.
Kept $105k in CIT Bank HYSA at 5.05% but i now plan to invest in the stock market. What are your thoughts on that? What stocks should I look out for as a newbie to safely grow my money?
Apt!! I was self-managing my portfolio but suffered heavy losses in 2022 and i knew i couldn't continue like that, so i consulted a fiduciary advisor. By restructuring and diversifying my $1.2M portfolio with dividend-paying stocks, ETFs, Mutual funds and REITs, I significantly boosted my portfolio, achieving an annualized gain of 28%.
I regret selling stocks 2021 and my strategy ever since has been pretty much buying Gold and silver to protect my wealth but if I could come up with a way to profit from this bull run, that would be brilliant. I've missed so much already.
I don't comfortably throw recommendations around on the internet, but I've been working with Camille Anne Hector. God ! she's brilliant! I'm sure there are others who are good.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up after scrolling a bit. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her. Once again many thanks.
I’ll never understand why anyone didn’t buy meta below 120 I tripled my position and it became 35% of my portfolio I’ve now had the best year I’ve ever had in ten years of investing
I remember when it hit 100ish I thought fb was going to go out of business. Now I know I have to look at fundamentals instead of the stock price…
no Dalio?
What are your thoughts on $chtr ? It seems lot of super investors recently bought this .
Terry also likes Wingstop but it has a low market cap so he does not put in his main fund.
Harry Segalas would be a great addition. His portfolio is underrated in my opinion.
My Blcktken300 shorts are doing pretty well and I plan to hold much longer.
Good luck with SNOW
I disagree with the Google bears.
Hey Joseph, can one link their portfolio from their broker to Qualtrim and track its performance inside the app, or does it just work as a search-and-analyse tool? Could not find this information anywhere. Thanks!
I think I disagree with you on The Coal Stock that Mohnish Pabrai bought being cyclical; mostly for these companies, their revenues are already contracted at generally fixed prices with ceilings and floors in place, so the price of coal has basically no impact on their revenues, and also their debt position (EX:CEIX) is almost 0, with plentiful reserves more than at least 15 times what they contract yearly. All these things together remove the “cyclicality” of these businesses entirely. In addition, the CEOs (Jimmy Brock, because thats what I own) are hell bent on buying back their stock at what they believe to be very attractive prices, while most of them own huge stock in their companies. With 40+ years of expertise in the same industry and usually company, Mohnish Pabrai isn’t jumping in and out. These stocks are tremendous long-term plays. I think Mohnish Pabrai said in an interview with Meb Fabre that he’s going to make more money in coal than in turkey because people are stupid, and I couldn’t agree more.
I hope Nelson Peltz gets his way. I think Iger said he has no need to talk or interact with him. Wouldve been great to hear more of his strategies with other companies, but great video
Why no Drunkenmiller?
One day in future computing power will be increased to the extend that we will have ai mostly on our devices. That day will mark the end of cloud computing.
I think thats at least a considerable thesis to discuss.
Super Investors Are Buying Now: The most significant lesson I gained from the stock market in 2023 is that uncertainty prevails, emphasizing the importance of humility. Adhering to a long-term strategy with a competitive edge is key
You're right, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask, do you know any?
I have been trading for about 8 months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points .I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me .
I've always been a fan of tech stocks. now 2 quarters and over $600,000 in raw profits later i am pretty convinced that tech has changed the future of investing through algorithmic trading. As a baby boomer myself i wonder who would have believed how fast we were to progress from piling up stock certificates & bonds to electronically making mass profits in an enormous market without even looking at a single graph
Watching the growth of stocks and financial assets in few years, everyone should start investing pronto even with the dip cause of the surprise in stock rising!
why no ASML, Broadcom,ARM if they are talking about moat
Swapping my ETH and swapping to Blcktken300 . Already up as expected. I wish I left on all the junk way earlier to step deep into this ride, they rock!
Informative video but you always miss the stocks these Super Investors buy outside of the US. Such as Smith buying LVMH & Novo Nordisk. There is a world outside of the US you know... including a number of your viewers no doubt.
Love the Blcktken300 content. I think this project is just as essential as HBAR and they both will be great movers
How do you think PANW down by 30%, is it a good buy at $270?
ROKU, the company spun off of NFLX...
$Tdg is interesting
Based on last year's box office returns, disney doesn't know anything about media either.
Blcktken300 anticipation is building to a fever pitch! 😥
TDG Transdigm (pronounced trans-dime, annoyingly) produces specialized aircraft components. Their performance depends a lot on inorganic growth, which I'd consider a risk, given the complexity.
Yes and pays no dividend. The products produced by the companies TDG holds are complex. It's for these reasons those that invest like Joseph Carlson wouldn't buy this stock.
@@MRatinoff We agree about complexity (it's a form of risk), although it's also part of TDG's moat being so specialized and often sole-source. I'm willing to watch it.
Paying a regular dividend is not good to me, and Joseph has become less enthusiastic about dividends. It takes money out of the company on an arbitrary schedule, like tax or interest payments, and there are times when the company could have allocated it. Many companies maintain debt to assure the regular dividend payment. Don't like it, unless the payout ratio is extremely conservative. I do like the Costco style dividends, because management has flexibility in doing business instead of trying to plan around an obligation.
@@collectorguy3919 fairs points. Joseph Carlson typically buys stocks that pay dividends cause the total investment compounds faster due to dividend reinvestment. Although TDG's moat is very strong, it's based largely on legacy aerospace platforms, necessitating acquisition of more businesses to keep the moat strong as old acquisitions dry-up. It isn't always easy finding a new acquisition that strengthens the moat at a good price. There is also the risk that US Gov refuses to let TDG operate as a toll booth and imposes consequences as a result.
fundsmith equity only has 27 holdings not 40. i'm guessing that website aggregates all the holdings in smithson the smaller companies trust run by fundsmith and maybe even the emerging markets trust that is being wound down. both not managed by terry smith. and i guess there's a few different holding in fundsmith sustainable equity but not many as the portfolio is pretty similar.
So the title is “Super Investors Are Buying Now”, but what evidence was provided and what case was made that this is true?
Stocks extended their year-to-date rally following the CPI report, with the S&P 500 last up 0.8% in afternoon trading. but I don't know if stocks will quickly rebound, continue to pull back or move sideways for a few weeks, or if conditions will rapidly deteriorate. I am under pressure to grow my reserve.
Concentrate on two main objectives. First, keep yourself safe by knowing when to sell stocks in order to limit losses and maximize gains. Second, get ready to benefit from market changes. I advise consulting a CFP or other professional for advice.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.
I appreciate the implementation of ideas and strategies that result to unmeasurable progress. Being heavily liquid, I'd rather not reinvent the wheel, thus the search for a reputable advisor, mind sharing info of this person guiding you please?
Finding financial advisors like Natalie Noel Burns who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
I greatly appreciate it. I'm fortunate to have come upon your message because investing greatly fascinates me. I'll look Natalie Noel Burns up and send her a message. You've truly motivated me. God's blessings on you.

Shoot the breeze?
Can’t say I’ve ever heard that turn of phrase before
Maybe it's not popular outside of my area. But it basically just means to have casual conversation.
Makes me wonder if Monash is looking at a cyclical moment for the energy during this period.. and if it’s also relevant to the US chip / battery needs
Hey Joe, u like like Josh Tarasoff... I think u are a better investor tho.
Terry Smith reduced his position in MSFT because he is running a regulated investment(pension) fund that has a cap how much can be allocated in a sector. It was a mandatory sale, not a voluntary one.
Is this from 13F? Then it id not NOW
Monish pabrai has publicly stated that the maximum position size in pabrai funds is 10%. Despite dataroma showing otherwise. You should do a video looking at his feoeign holdings
Great info - Thx - It’s shocking a fund manager would have 40% in Disney .. Such a obviously deeply troubled Woke Co. better options : Meta .. Palantir, Tesla, AMAZN ECT ..
No AAPL for anyone; I guess growth is to weak.
👍
Do you think that Google will pay a dividend in 2024?
To be fair, DG recovered well if his strategy was dip-buying. 40% from trough
20:55 sounds like Josh bought between $300 and $260 and when Netflix finally recovered from the depths and reached ‘break-even’ or a small profit end 2022/start 2023 he just decided enough with this volatility and got out. (He had seen it go up ~70-75% from 175 to around 300 and sold I reckon)
Monish play like a young buffett, cigar buds approach.

13:42 Transdigm (pronunciation: trans-dime) is a behind the scenes assassin, a sleeper as one might call it.
I think the simplest way to explain Transdigmn is that it supplies the parts and components that go inside a boeing aircraft.
