The last time I followed and crocheted this hat was 5.5 yrs ago when my first grandmunchkins was a baby.
On Friday, I decided to make one for my 18 month old second grandmunchkins.
I think my tension was too loose cos head circumference was too large so decided to use a hook half an inch smaller to make another one.
    What a difference it made.
Love your tutorial. You have such a soothing teaching voice.
Hope all is well with you and yours and that 2022 will be better for us all.
Thank you and take care 🤗😊🌹

This pattern is absolutely wonderful and super easy to follow. I somehow dropped a stitch in the beginning but it worked up just fine. About 2 hours to complete once I got the gauge right (worsted weight, doubled the strands to make it bulky weight to fit the pattern, size 5mm crochet needle). Absolutely love it. Used variegated yarn in navy/maroon, cream accent and cream pompoms. I cant wait to make the next one for my other twin! I seriously wish I could post a picture here. If you're curious look over at my Instagram, I just posted a picture!

I hear you're using American terms for the crochet stitches eg. "double" when UK crocheters will see you doing a "treble".
