you speaking my mind! I've been dabbling on feather last couple of weeks. I've been waiting to get nomad going. Those 3 apps are amazing. I hope i find the courage and energy to just stick with it. Sometimes sticking with it is the hardest part.
Agreed, I haven’t been this excited about a design related software in many years. Coming from a CAD background, this is both weird and exciting at the same time.
I have a some additional requests. Though, if these are already on your radar, consider these as +1s. 1. Edit ability to the strokes. I prefer full bezier controls, but even the more simplistic that a lot of software uses now would be better than nothing. 2 When altering a stroke, either from the method requested above or the liquify tool, to have the option to modify on the existing 3D drawing guides. Right now, the liquify tool throws off the stroke/s orthogonal to the viewing plane. Which is fine, if that is what you want. However, if you still want to be constrained to the drawing guide, it is extremely difficult to post-repair. Another option, would be to have the ability to project the stroke back onto the drawing plane using the current view as the projection direction. Regardless, a brilliant and outrageously fresh application. Love it!
These are fantastic new features. These functionalities have greatly enhanced the practicality of this app. I have already started integrating it into my design workflow. ♥
Can't wait to try this!!!!!! I confess the older versions I found a quite diffcult to learn, but this new version features made me change my idea and I'm so excited to try!! I've always found the app a mind blowing feature to make sketchs for 3D modellings (and obvious final arts too, even more now)
Im blown away by this. I always wanted to try drawing in 3d. since blender isnt on ipad i already gave up on it but this is even better. im enjoying it so much
Amazing 3D user interface, these features are gold. Keep up the creative work. Is there a possibility of adding coordinates to go from design to product. I work in surveying and would love to see a drafting mode for real world measurements.
Do you have any plans to make an extrude tool? Extruding a square upwards makes it into a box, or circle becomes a cylinder etc. It's one of sketch-up core features, and i think majority of your audience are familiar with it and would love it!
Fantastic update!! It's so exciting to see the app becoming more and more useful (even though it's already incredibly useful and intuitive! I usually hate dealing with 3D but it's so easy with feather). Is there a way to submit feature requests? I’d love to have a "camera view" mode with a grid overlay for exporting images (a bit like when you crop in photoshop, you automatically get a rule-of-thirds grid, or when you set a camera in blender). I use the app to create compositions for my illustrations, so having the option to view different proportions and orientations would be incredibly helpful, because now it’s locked to the iPad’s orientation. Additionally, it would be amazing if the app could open in 'dark mode' by default-not just for the buttons, it would be nice to have a "preset" so that when I open a new file it would be with a dark canvas.
Thank you for the detailed feedback. The canvas preset in dark mode is a very interesting suggestion. Please share more of your thoughts on our Discord!
Cool. So I have some blank colored walls which I now want to place windows on. Is there a way to neatly erase out the openings or do I have to redo the walls?
Make a Windows App please.🙏 We use iOS and PC devices so we can get the larger drawing screens like the Surface studio. Want to include this in our workflow.
Love this App! Maybe i dont see it, but can i import notes that i have drawn before (like a tree) in my actual Project? So that i dont have to draw that tree everytime new as I need it?
Looks really cool. Such a shame this is iPad only. Hopefully this will not be limited to a number of users, but will become available for people with an Android Tablet or Windows PC too.
This would be great on a computer that has a keyboard and mouse. But I don't know about doodling on a tablet. I've tried several times to use tablets for work - and it just doesn't work.
same, i wanted to get one for procreate already but i can just draw on my wacom in desktop software. but this is something i havent seen done in any other app or software.
@ that ipad pro might be pro enough after all, if you factor in this, alongside logic pro, Di Vinci Resolve/ final cut, procreate, pixelmator and the affinity suite. We just need a fully fitted 3d print slicer application and we might be home free.
Before I get this I have a few questions: how compatible is this with other software? This seems like a great way to mix 2d and 3d animation for my projects but I'm not sure if this app supports that function
I’m so excited to get an iPad this Christmas; feather, procreate, nomad sculpt, the possibilities are endless
Affinity Photo and LumaFusion
I love the affinity suite on windows. How does the iPadOs version compare?
Same here! I can’t decide between the iPad Air and the Pro model 😭

WOW saving guide and premade guides are sooooo useful! it was stressing me out having to keep drawing guides!
Omg, you guys made the most groundbreaking piece of software in a while!! And this update is absolutely incredible

Fantastic work guys, will definitely make use of these awesome features. Saving guides is a gamechanger!
I can't wait for this to be available on android again ❤️ you're doing a great job.
Great app! Please add popups when hover over controls. They are very useful for novices. Thanks!
We will continue to add features optimized for Apple Pencil and Pencil Pro. Stay tuned!

Love this video! Love the bg music..everything. thanks Feather!
Music is Cirrus · Risian
@@brenolad thank you sir 🙏

Fantastic update 🎉
너무 멋진 3D 드로잉 툴입니다. 앞으로도 좋은 기능 업데이트 부탁드려요. 안드로이드 탭에도 입점 부탁드릴게요
I want to see the process for the cat sushi one! It’s so cute!
Please do a version for Samsung Tablets!
Hi ! Thank you for all this wonderful features that answer many of my questions ;) Great great app really !
Amazing 3D user interface, these features are gold. Keep up the creative work. Is there a possibility of adding coordinates to go from design to product. I work in surveying and would love to see a drafting mode for real world measurements.
Great software but we need a polyline, that would make it much easier to quickly create complex planar guides and shapes.
i see feather as a grease pencil on pad. it is good i was always expected such a tool.

@feather_3d I too have some feedback: please release this on android.
Will you guys add sculpting features in the feature?
Thank you so much for this amazing App! Can you make a tutorial on different types of brushes?
Sure! We're preparing a variety of tutorials. Stay tuned!
Is there any chance of android viersion app??
can you please show us how you did the trees? Thanks!
I have never used this app but now I'm interested , this app is awesome it's made designing much fun .
Just bought the app.... Can't wait to integrate with other software like procreate
I just discover this app here on youtube. Have you any plans to release on Android? Amazing work!
Cool.
So I have some blank colored walls which I now want to place windows on. Is there a way to neatly erase out the openings or do I have to redo the walls?
Would like to see a Line, Circle, and Rectangle tool, for more precise drawing, rather than just freeform
Here is the tutorial link for the feature that allows you to draw lines and circles!

@@feather_3d thank you
This is like the advent of SketchUp all over again. Please don’t sell us out 😢
Make a Windows App please.🙏

When is this coming to Android and PC?
Pressure sensitivity, finally!
Is it going to be available for android as well?
Love this App!
Maybe i dont see it, but can i import notes that i have drawn before (like a tree) in my actual Project? So that i dont have to draw that tree everytime new as I need it?
We are currently developing this feature. Please continue to request any necessary functions as you do now! Feather is constantly being updated.
It is possible to add SketchUp components or another BIM library?
That file format is not supported yet. Currently, Feather supports OBJ import.
What about pdf for plans scale and reference?
are you guys planning on expanding for android consumers?
is 11inch ipad good for this?
very goooooood
Nice
Looks really cool. Such a shame this is iPad only. Hopefully this will not be limited to a number of users, but will become available for people with an Android Tablet or Windows PC too.
Please release this for Android... specifically Samsung Tablets
Is there a way to generate a guide from an existing stroke so I can continue drawing on that plane if I forgot to save it?
Yes. This feature is called Loft. Please refer to this document for a detailed explanation of the feature.
support.feather.art/docs/3dguide/loftguide
Can we group drawing and 3d guide together so when transform both will be moved together
The feature to group guides and curves is currently under development. But you can select and move guides and curves simultaneously.
Hello, is it possible to create sub-groups for a better workflow?
That feature is currently under development and will be available in a future update.
woahhhhh love this app so much
This would be great on a computer that has a keyboard and mouse. But I don't know about doodling on a tablet. I've tried several times to use tablets for work - and it just doesn't work.
Can this come to android please😅
Oh my god! please! Windows version?! Please!!!!
이것만을 기다렷다우
Could you do a version without the music? I can’t follow with the noise
I would like to know if we can draw hyman 3d characters with this app.
Why did you remove the app from Windows?
I might get a ipad for this, does anyone know how it performs on iPad mini?
same, i wanted to get one for procreate already but i can just draw on my wacom in desktop software. but this is something i havent seen done in any other app or software.

Wait wait omg pls tell me I can 3d print the objects 😍

I heard that you can export it to an obj for blender I believe (I think the tutorial is on UA-cam)
for android?
Unfortunately nope
Android will forever be forsaken by art programs 😭🙏
nice way of monetizing grease pencil
Pleeeeeeeeease bring this to android, I'm begging you.
android :( ?
Why do people hate making apps on android?😤
Android
So bad u removed it from android :/
Well guess this is a goodbye to feather free😅its always a good app now im gonna delete this app cause i cant afford one😔
