One inside the truck bed and then on top of the truck bed. Though if you have a roll up or one of those fancy electronic sliders then yes
Do you think that the 18” rack would provide enough clearance to open up another fold of the Bakflip? Is it the width or height of the rack preventing further opening?
Thanks for the upload. Are you happy with his setup? Seems like this is the only crossbar setup I can find that you can use with a folding tonneau cover. My only gripe is how much the brackets stick out when the rails are removed, a lower profile would be perfect. Do you know of any other companys making similar products?
I'm pretty happy with this setup. It rains a lot where I live. I find this useful to my everyday. I don't know any other companies that does this. The brackets does stick out but it also gives me an extra 2 inchs of height. Hope this helps
Hi there, can you do a follow up video with the roof top tent on it pls? I would love to know if this 14” rack gives enough room in the bed to pack a lot of gear or “18 is better. Thnx
So I just bought the hi rise bars from voodoo and have the Bakflip g2. I got the brackets which are beefer than the ones you have. Did you have to shave any of the plastic black inside rail on the truck at all so that the silver Bakflip relocator brackets fit? Tough to explain, sorry. It the seal still good or do you have any leaks? Seeams like it is going to be a really tight fit with these brackets for the tri fold to close.
Project Onix my question would be if you’re able to flip your bakflip to the 3rd panel (the fold before it leans on the truck) and then install the bed rack, or does the Height of the folded portion interfere with the angled bed rack arms. Thank in advance!
I have a ultraflex trifold tonneau cover. What brackets do i need so i can do the same set up as yours? My factory railings are already used by the cover
i like how you showed how this turned out. I didnt know that the brackets replace the ones that came with the bakflip. Very nice how bad does it leak tho?
Just first unfold of it. Unfortunately not the whole thing. I still like it because it protects it from the outside elements. It rains a lot where I live.
@@pinay56 I never said the flip cover will work. Where I live it rains a lot. The bed cover helps protects it. If you go with the retrax system it will work. 👍
Wow..this is bad design especially for an off-road use. Only 4 bolts and especially the 4 flimsy L brackets at the support bases. A square tubing at the base would provide much better support than the L brackets.
That's nice; but you don't have the film on how all of this works, and for some who would like this setup, it would be helpful if you could demonstrate how the BakFlip works with the Voodoo rack installed. For all we know, you could be blowing smoke up our asses, and we all have to depend on your say so that it works......
*I drove 20 hours across state with a **Latest.Bike** on this rack never budged. Highly impressed. Easy install one two go!*
Can you open the tonneau cover with the rack on?
The one thing I came here to see and he doesn't lift the cover under the rack 😭
In for the answer also
EXACTLY what I was wanting to know!
Definitely can’t. Lol.
They have a higher rack but i don't think that 14" will allow the tri fold to clear
can you open the trifold with the rack fully asembled?
Can you still open the bakflip all the way with that rack?
Can you still open the tonneau properly ? Thanks
Does the cover still fold back under the rack?
The most important info is missing! Cannyou open the tonneau or not?
Can the Bakflip still be folded all the way to the window w/ the bedrack on?
Can you still open your bakflip with the rack on? I would get one that would make everything functional
he ever answer these questions?
I have the same question
This is bogas, if anyone can show the backflip open we are interested
@@burnsbrigade no reply so far
Very EFFECTIVE
Now with the brackets does the rated Capacity of the dynamic and static change.
I believe not by much. I recommend getting bed stiffiners brackets
Good video and finally…the kinda rack I’d like to see matched with the MX4.
Do you know if they make this for F150’s? Thanks.
Can your mx4 open with the rack on?
Can you respond to this question? Thanks!

Will those brackets hold a rooftop tent with 2-3 people in it?
Did you ever trim the backflip base to accommodate the side of the kb voodoo brackets?
Where can i get that relocating bracket, im trying to do the same thing without getting rid of my trifold.
Any water enter the bed with the brackets?
Does the tonneau cover opens still?
How's the aluminum rack holding up? Debating between the steel and aluminum one. Any visible cracks anywhere?
Can you open the bakflip tonneau with rack installed?
Do you think that the 18” rack would provide enough clearance to open up another fold of the Bakflip? Is it the width or height of the rack preventing further opening?
I haven't seen anyone with a 18" and a Bakflip yet. That may be possibility.
So does the Bakflip still open with the rack in place? You don't show the tonneau cover in the open position
Did the OEM rail relocation kit come with your order? was it a separate option?
Separate order.
Do you happen to have the link for the rail relocation kit? I looked on Voodoo's website and I didn't have any luck finding it.
@@aamstutz69 it should be on there. Don't use the drop down. Go to the extras sections. You will see the bakflip relocation bracket
What is the height from the bed liner to the bottom of the rack in the middle? I wanna know if I’d be able to tuck two recreational kayaks in there.
Saw that you had a third bar added to your RTT does that help with distributing the weight or increasing the weight the rack can handle?
Hi. Any issues to report since you installed? I have about 500 lbs to put on top of this rack with the the same BAKFlip cover you have.
Thanks for the upload.

Unfortunately no. But it keeps everything safe and dry from the elements

Hi, Are T-slot nuts needed to bolt the brackets unto the Tacoma bed rail? If so, which one's did you buy?
You think that setup would make your prinsu flush with with prinsu top rack over the voodoo?
It's not 100% flush. But with a spare tire or rtt looks great with it
what happened to the spare tire mount video ?
Nice video, what gun case is that mounted to your roof rack?
Thanks! Plano tactical case 👍
That looks sick
Hi, with the rack mounted can you open the bed cover fold and unfold?
Do you get water leakage in your truck bed with the adapter brackets?
Very little. Nothing major.

how bad does it leak tho?
Thanks! Leak isn't that bad. Only a little here and there. 👍
How is the stability of it. Seems like the bends and screws may be the week points. Do you know what the static limit is?
The static load is listed as 600lbs on their website.
Any update??

any issues since the install, any bending on the brackets?
So any issues with the brackets so far?
tonneau cover will not open
