Oh my. Hope Jake or others who struggles with cold/mouth sores or sore throat read this. The actual medication is not hurting at all. For immediate use especially when you hv to go on stage/live, just spray Aloclair or apply Gengigel per 2-3 hours. Or just consume Nystatin/Candistin 12ml Drops that can be taken up to 4X a day (especially if you hv soar throats). Dont drink for 5 min after application. I dont understand why in Korea they still use chemical that burns the ulcer. It's torturing 😢 I hv soar throat, mouth ulcers all the time so I am obssesed to hv better medication. Imagine if those who have cold sores are little babies or kids. Watching Jake or others hv to suffer is just gut wrenching.
It seems his immune system is struggling, he should take niacinamide (vit B3) it also helps balance hormones. And putting clove bud oil or iodine on the sores would help. And holding sarracenia purpurea spray in his mouth would help for all kinds of sores. Or it could be parasites, which also bring your immune system down. Doctors treat animals for parasites every year, but for some reason they don’t recognize the signs in humans.

Although I don’t know fully his situation and it seems he is already being treated I have gathered some tips that may help relieve some of the irritation caused by canker sores and hopefully it can help you too :) -can apply ice in 10 minute increments - because stress may play a role, relaxation and stress removal be be useful to reduce the ulcer frequency - Consume food that is high is your respective nutritional deficiency - Increasing Vitamin C intake - Use oral debriefing and wound cleansing agents containing hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide for no longer than 7 days. Using toothpastes with hydrogen peroxide are helpful from my experience 👍 - Oral rinses may help that include eucalyptol, menthol, methyl salicylate, thymol, or bee propilos. - Avoid spicy or acidic foods until the lesions heal - Avoid sharp textured food that may cause increased trauma to the lesions - Do not use heat to treat these as it may worsen the sore and spread infection Hope this helps 🤍 & Hope the situation gets better for Jake 🤍🫶
this is not meant to be hate, but jake has canker sores/ulcers, not cold sores. cold sores are from herpes and usually on the outside of the mouth like the lips, canker sores/uclers can be caused by many things and are inside the mouth
I'm telling you he's allergic to toothpaste. I had the same thing! There is an ingredient in toothpaste called sodium lauryl sulfate, you have to find a toothpaste that does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate. And you won't get them anymore.
