I did the AT in Maryland north to south. Started at PennMar park. Spent 1st night in Raven Rocks shelter, 2nd night at Annapolis Rocks, 3rd night at Gathland State Park. Finished at Harper's Ferry. I took my time and enjoyed the journey. Its fairly easy backpacking journey.
Well done cliff! When can i put some FPV Goggles on you and you and I take a FPV quadcopter up here in Berks County and really blow your mind. Flying the Titus power facility is always a good time. 👍👍🇺🇸

I enjoyed this video very much. I noticed your Purple Lizard maps. I recently got the one for the state parks and forests in Pa. Its very nice. You might want to look into it. I saw a video about a guy getting stuck in the Nutty Buddy cave. ( i think that was the name.) Sadly they couldn't get him out and had to leave him. The cave has been filled in and off limits. I thought of you the whole time,how you go into random caves. I don't think you'd go where he did tho. I love the fawn picture, is it a puzzle or one you took? Do you ever print and hang you photos? I knew you were going to say Evansburg State Park in reference to issues when hiking …..I recall that specific video when you were concerned…..definitely a sketchy park.
I’ve never ran into big game like bear or nor smaller game like coyotes on all my hikes in PA, and I’ve done a lot. People always talk about seeing bear and coyote a lot, but I feel like they make it up because I know I spend way more time in the woods than they do. In my 20 plus years of hiking and hunting I’ve only seen one bear ever.
Great Q and A session Cliff. Most questions I had/have now or in the past you were kind enough to answer when I asked in the comments of that particular video. You're a teacher so I thought I would mention the following. I was 12 when a teacher put me onto the disappearance of Amelia Earhart, I am 81 now. I don't know for sure why but her vanishing has always intrigued me. I have read many books and gleaned information on her life, times and disappearance, the internet has been a source too ( boy I'm old) since its inception. Problem now is I know "what most likely happened" and I will see a new video about her "finally" being found or the Lockheed "finally" found. It's always just click bate. If I had the money I think I know where that plane is. About 5 to 15 miles Northwest of her destination Howland Island in 13000 feet of Pacific Ocean. A vast area to look even with today's technology but I would give it a shot. No spying on the Japanese, no Nikumaroro castaway either. I don't think it's complicated at all. So sad about her and Fred Noonan.😪😪🤕🤕

Hiking? PA's park system is an absolute treasure. State parks, local parks. Most are mapped, and well maintained. PA is a great casual hiking state.
