Thanks for the commitment to purchase a Stark and continue to ride and test it over time. The rest of the industry media has mostly dropped the ball on this and SwapMoto is rising to the top. Great format.
the rest of the industry doesn't own a Varg. iirc, swap paid for his. apples to oranges in that regard (MXA was very vocal that Stark wouldn't let them keep the bike for long term testing and only wanted to do special days). but I'm 100% with you on the getting long term feedback being a great thing. :)
I just got to ride a Stark Varg at Glen Helen and everything He is saying is exactly what I would say the bike is AMAZING wish I had the money to get one
I am tyring to work out the potential savings around fuel, parts, and such. I did the same exercise when we bought our first EV, and the savings covered the cost of the lease. TBH, I really wish that manufactures like Stark offered a leasing program. The progression in the technology is so fast that I don't want to keep it around for over two years. Where ICE bikes seem to just get new graphics and smaller changes, the electric bikes of this year, will seem like a flip phone in two to three years time.
@@MarcSherwoodleasing dirt bikes?? Get real. Imagine the shape they would come back in. Sounds like a lot of mental gymnastics to convince yourself that electric is better.
@@chupacabraracing181 I've got many old MX bikes that I've rebuilt, and love, but I also want the best performance and lowest maintenance possible. That is where electric wins. And yes, leasing. You might want to own an old phone, I don't. You don't have to have an EV. Also keep in mind most people that buy new bikes are older , have disposable income, and don't ride their bikes nearly as much as we all dream that we will.
Lol, not trying to be mean here, but feelings aren't helpful when people are trying to truly evaluate a bike. If that guy is 6' 2", there is no way he weighs 230lbs, more like 270-300. Would be helpful to have an accurate weight.
6'2" 300lbs NO! 🤣😂 sounds exactly like me. I stopped checking when I seen 250-260lbs lol but same height Thank you and this is an actual review and more realistic; more people need to see this. Many of us that use to ride motocross mid-late 80's early-mid 90's are getting older and yes, weight gain happens. I was 160lbs in my prime working out and fit, sixpack and all. Now not so much
Yea that bike looked like it fit Dom pretty well without any big guy mods. I'm 6.5 at 260 and have a prosthetic on my left foot. No shifting gives me hope.
As much as I’m anti E-Bike this sounds like it might be exactly what our sport needs to grow in areas that will bring new people into our sport, now they need cool introduction events bringing outsiders in to experience these bikes. Stark NEEDS to get creative in their marketing, to many people think they are trying to replace our beloved Gas bikes, me included sounds like this could be huge if they change their strategy. Thanks for being creative in what you do ❤🙏
Not trying to be a jerk, but why are you anti e-bike? I understand if you don't want one of your own, but not liking options for others to the point of being "anti" is something that I don't understand. For some riding conditions/sytles I can see why the current range could be a problem, but for track riding they seem like amazing rides. In a race, I want to have the bike that allows me to go the fastest in the easiest way. These bikes seem to deliver on that. In a few years, when you can get a full day, or more, of riding on a charge, and tracks have infrasturture to "fill up" while I grill my lunch, I can't see the downside. Do I love the song of a two-stroke being wound out on a track? For sure. Though I also like to think about having places to ride closer to the city, and not having to work on a bike unless it is a project for fun. Honestly interested to understand this more.
@@MarcSherwood Because buying one makes you part of the problem! If one buys their sh*t then they can't force them on us in the future. Look at 4-strokes, same thing happened and in my opinion ruined the sport. The cost of entry is now out of most average peoples hands. F8ck e-bikes and anyone that promotes them!
I watched this video with my wifey in the room and told her, "BABE, these are my times, You don't have to shift!😄She said sell all your shit and best not come home with that or I will sell all of it! Things that make you go hmmm.

Thanks for the review!! It’s great to see a rider a honest opinion👍💪 You could see his excitement on his face!!
Great review. Glad you guys are giving us the scoop on the Stark bike.

@@chupacabraracing181 actually its the opposite electric is superior is every way minus range
Awesome video! If you met that guy at work or something you’d never know he is a fast rider… the man can ride!
he's a great rider
It always impresses me when a human with a body type like this can ride decently. 👏

They need to go bankrupt and GTF out of our sport, period!

Great review. Finally a normal sized rider. Was he using stock shock and fork springs .If so was he using the 250 pound spring in the shock?
Believe it or not, he was riding suspension set up for Donn. Dommer said the soft suspension was less apparent on the Stark.
Love seeing his excitement!
Good to know I don’t need to worry about charging at track for 4 15 min motos with a vet rider as well.
Every video I see the more I want one
very good video, one question, what knee pads do you use gaytan?
I will gladly pay you tomorrow for 4 and a half cheeseburgers today! 😂

He's a good Rider.
Do LIT overlay gas vs electric...
5 gallons of gas and a MATCH.
im just afraid the battery is going to crap out and need replacing and cost 4 grand, then the motor is going to wear out inside in about 3 years
2 year warranty . Just sell it then haha
Next video: Can a sumo wrestler rip a stark varg?
Dude looks like a chubby Mike Metzger 😬
So basically the result was yes and no the bike was fine but the rider wasn’t 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think you insulted Steve Mathis name because he calls himself the Big Guy
How much is stark paying youtubers to say the glorified mountain bike is awesome!!! Boooo electric go charge your battery!!!
ride one........ all the reviews are real.....everyone that gets on mine says how amazing it is.
You should try one instead.
I paid THEM $13,000 for me to tell everyone how great the bike is. 😜
Lol... haven't heard one person say they didn't like riding it.
Most say it's the best bike they have ever ridden.
These insecure comments make me laugh
