the player plays as a suave free agent living a james bondesque life style. basically right off the bat, your best friend/Q/einstein looking ass dude has his plans for a death machine stolen and is subsequently killed. you then traverse across america looking for the killers. you steal back part of the plan only to end up double crossed by a hot chick you met. some of your crew gets kidnapped, you go around chicago rescuing them, then you track the chick to south america where you discover the death machine is complete and primed for world domination. you end up destroying the death machine luke skywaker style and you win all the ladies. It's a very cliched storyline.
@@AsimUllahOnline maybe the second one didn't made enough money maybe they have license problem i still hope to this day for a sequel or remake of the first one on PC which is really old by now.

Pay close attention to the engine sound. CLOSE, attention. If you played Fighter Ace 2, does this sound exactly like the planes in FA? Same sound file, same game devs? I love it.
can I ask what did you use to connect to HDTV? I use a Neet composite to hdmi converter and for some reason the original xbox games look really dark even if I turn up my brightness all the way up! emulators look fine though

Well, I'm no longer excited to try this one out on Xbox One backcompat. Always heard it was a classic. But given the way people overreact about writing in modern games, I won't be giving this one another glance.
This game looks really shitty beside of his grand brother... The first one was awesome but this one is way too much arcade, once again I thanks the console to give us remarkable dongraded and unfinished version. I definitly hate the game industry !
I'm not at all interested in checking this one out on backcompat, either. Never played it before. But people these days absolutely freak out about perceived 'bad writing' in modern games, yet this has some of the cringiest dialogue I've ever seen.
@@andreww4012 I loved playing this game when I was younger, although I never played the original PC version back then. I recommend it since despite the simulator controls being thrown out for a more arcade version it introduces a different and more enjoyable gameplay style. I don't think the dialogue is cringy at all.
One of my favourite original Xbox games, a modern sequel would easily blow my mind.
Yeah, a sequel would be awesome. :D
+The Games Outfit A sequel would be amazing.
The Games Outfit there is a spin off type if thing called BOMB who let the dogfight
Its not a sequel but I'm trying to make a spiritual reincarnation of sorts in Unreal Engine right now.
This game is brilliant and there needs to be another one like it again.
The maker of this game needs to come out with that sequel everyone wants ! Miss this game !!
beat this game so many times when i was little, damn this brings back a shit ton of memories
I loved this game, I wish they would make a sequel as well.
Same here. :)
I'd prefer a remastered edition of both games for all platforms
I played the 1st game on PC with the Flightstick good times
This game seriously needs a sequel. I miss playing it soooo much!
That music is so dam nostalgic, I was only a kid back then yet I still remember that music.
It's been 17 years
i loved playing this game.
Fuck I loved this game. I played it for years just flying around Chicago. It’s the reason I’m so good at piloting in games now
So I can't remember anything about the storyline, but I do remember loving this game when it came out.

One of the best games ever. i love and miss this game. Even after i beat it, i'd play it again repeatedly.
ahhh the nostalgia
This was a brilliant game and so graphically ahead of its time. Makes me want to play it again.
I'm from the future, they are making this game backwards compatible

HOLY SHIT!!! They actually did
Just bought it on xbox one. Wonder how come they never made sequel of this.

God I loved that game. Thanks for posting this.
This game was so fun. Was too young so I couldn’t get that far but
This was one of my favourite Xbox games...
sadly I never finished it because MY CD WAS ALL SCRATCHED UP!!!
Polish the DVD bro. Maybe your Xbox recognize the disc.
This was my first ever Xbox Live game I played
This brings back so many memories!
I remember when I got my xbox as a gift and the firsts game I played on it was this one id spend hours and hours non stop with it
One of the first Xbox games I got for the original console. I’d be happy with just a remaster
Maldita sea, por fin te encontré, por fin encontré este juego
Love this game
I miss this game. One of the most fun games I played on the Xbox.
Man I loved this game as a kid.
He knows he almost got that rock in the beginning
Not crazy about remastered games... but I'd make an exception for a Crimson Skies HD if they did a 4K remaster for XOX.
I was #1 in the world on all leaderboards for almost 2 years. Played under the gamertag Riverman32.
was that before you became TheLegend27?
I don't recognize that name. This wouldve been about 2003-late 05. Not exactly sure.
It was the weekly monthly 3 month and yearly leaderboards. Was number 1 for almost two years.
River Frantz What planes did you use?

this game and the nfs underground series were the best... man I miss my xbox :/ I only play on PC nowadays.
this was my first xbox original game when i bought the live kit yearrsss ago i remember just going online i never played the campaign
Ahh, I remember this game now. I always thought that this game is sci fi because the plance looks like X wing from star wars.

Owen Grech Jesus you use Composite? What a NEET.
The Xbox supports Component cables and every game besides 3 don’t support 480p.
The graphics look better than San Andreas
Question can the original PC version be played on a Windows 7 computer?
I remember the whales
Top 5 Xbox Games for me : Halo, Crimson Skies, Steel Battalion, Chronicles of Riddick, Halo 2.
I loved this game played it alot, this so what Nathan Drake did before Uncharted lol
I thought this game was the shit back then. I loved it, and then always forgot the name of it, but remembered the story quite well.
the best game
So this Nathan is just the precursor to Nathan Drake, just with diesel punk planes instead of treasure hunting.
2003 is calling
pick up the phone then 😂
