This is bloody excellent! Old guitar player here that naively removed all strings at once, thought it was broken when the bridge fell off and that I’d have to glue it together or something… Will have a go at this, cheers!

I just got a mandolin, how do I install the bridge? Do I loosen the strings?
I’ve an a style flat board Ratliff (hand cramper) that just feels jammed up. Not a fun player like my Eastman but it sounds wonderful. Pity
Ya always leave out the two middle string when talking about intonation or the mandolin. Those two middle one never are set right, how do we fix this.
You’d need the bridge to be properly compensated to make up the difference in intonation between them
