hi xx very informative video thank you!! can you do au pair or apply even though you do not have professional experience as a nanny or just taking care of kids professionally? like for example -will it count against me/ or take longer to find a host family/match?
I much are Au pairs normally paid am from South Africa I want to move to the USA with my own child I don't why to leave her behind... Is this possible?
Let’s say you come to the US for certain medical treatment that is not something life threatening but they don’t have doctors for your rare condition. I am functional in terms of working I just can’t do active exercise due to a nerve injury which I plan on receiving expert physical therapy for because I used to be an athlete back in the day and I’m hoping to be able to resume my talent one day in the future. I will need to attend physical therapy regularly but do not want to inform them of my prior health issues and reason for coming to the US so that like you said they don’t use it against me or make their own assumptions about my capability to work. In order to conceal private details about something you have to attend regularly where do you tell the family you are going? I don’t want to have to keep up with telling multiple lies which I may then forget and not remember what I told them and be caught in a lie because I wanted to keep certain medical issues private.
I wanted to be transparent that I actually lived in an orphanage because I want to avoid that whole "let's talk about your family Convo", so it's pretty clear on my profile. Is that a bad thing? Like is that over sharing? I'm low-key panicking now. P.s I'm not ashamed of my past so I don't really ever feel the need to hide it. I just want to avoid the awks covos
@@AngelHutchinson After careful consideration I've decided to omit certain things. I kept thinking about it and the more I thought about it, I realized I was setting myself up. Thanks for the video, I'd have never thought about it if it weren't for you 😅
Host families lie on their profiles you truly reach there and wonder how they praise their kids but Yooh 🥵 My former family was worse though I had a weekend off. My second Host family was awesome

It’s basically baby sitting or volunteering to look after kids hours. So if you look after family friends kids or neighbors. They consider it.
You don’t need a qualification to do it
Please what is the age limit for this?
18 to 26 in America
Some countries have up until 30
@@AngelHutchinson can you please mention some of those countries?
@jaynegreen4057 I already made a list of them. Look under the aupair playlist
Hello, a quick question: should I assume or ask if the host family will be providing personal hygiene products or should I buy it on my own?
They not required to buy for you. I would buy my own .
I’m looking to host. What would you say some host families make?
Hi my name is Chelsea, am looking to au pair. Would you like us to be in contact

Excuse my typo... I meant how much are Au pairs paid?
You can’t become and an aupair and bring your kid over. There’s also only one aupair I’ve heard of that takes aupairs with kids.
@@AngelHutchinson Hi dear, please hook me up with the one that take Au pairs with kids🌺
Au pairs do not have kids 😢😢
Do you know any which take over 30 years? @@AngelHutchinson

I do think that’s personal. It’s up to you if you want to share it or not.
