If you are willing to purchase 2 ton then I would recommend go for Daikin. But if you can increase your budget then go for Mitsubishi Electric. I'm using Mitsubishi since 2018 1.5 ton, it is working flawlessly the cooling is like how it used to do when it was new.

@@anuj55268 Well panasonic is good too but it's cooling capacity is not upto the mark. Panasonic's cooling capacity is 6100 watts roughly 1.77 ton whereas Daikin's capacity is 7100 watts pure 2 ton. Now it's upto you which one to buy one more thing is that panasonic don't use any coating outdoor unit base after 5 years the unit will be rusted.
1.8 ton is sufficient if there is construction on it and no direct sunlight on from any side. If room is not covered then you should consider Daikin's 2.2 ton AC

Cause of scaling is due to inpurities /hardness /calcium /salt in water. In distilled water scaling are negligible. So it's just products promotion.
