I own and operate (or someone operates) DAILY an 835M with HVAC. Deere needs to do two things for these machines immediately: Extend the oil filter 1 inch so you can grab the filter with a strap style oil filter wrench to speed up and simplify oil changes; Design bed sides that incorporate larger flares to keep mud off the door/seals, air filter housing, and fuel cap. For us Beta testers how about some flares that bolt to the bed or something. This UTV has a wider track and cab than the 825 BUT uses the same bed. Keep the bed the same it's a great bed with lots of options already offered. There needs to be a way to keep the mud (even a little mud every day) from building up on the door seals and other stuff I mentioned. The door build-up is a major PIA it quickly gets to where every time you open and close the door you get a hand full of mud. YEA YEA I get it after a while you'll remember. However, I use this for work and regularly tote white collar people around - they don't get it. All I'm saying is keep the functional parts of the bed sides the same but make the plastic molded part more flared to catch the mud. Again, I don't go mudding a few hours on the weekend then bring it home and clean it. It's used every day many miles from a hose. EVERYONE that gets a ride in this 835 can't believe how smooth, quiet, and comfortable it is. It certainly fits three big guys with Carhart's on and carries our butts around no problem. (that's easily 600lbs in the cab) I'll be honest I would have rather paved my driveway, but I gotta do what I gotta do for business.
Hi Caleb, we're a John Deere dealer and can help you with that if you're located near Illinois: bit.ly/2uhy1B2. Otherwise, I'd contact your local JD dealer.
