I think Joyce needs to be a little lighter to add some more movement to his defenses and that also helps his aerobic powers which aren't too bad.

AJ had lost the fight at the face off, his eyes said that he was worried (scared). Aj has not changed his style since he was an amateur. He has always been robotic and predictable. Daniel is a much better boxer and so much improved with Don Charles. Well done Daniel.
I think Joe is just too nice, he's got all that power all that size but he just doesn't use it properly and he has absolutely zero defence at all, he walks into shots, if he could utilise his power and learn a defensive technique or two he'd be a better fighter. As to his boxing...um...given his undoubtedly elite level attributes of size, fitness, athleticism, strength...i just can't understand why he can't or won't improve his defense. It's utterly bonkers. Yes it's mighty impressive to take head shots that would probably knock everyone else out, but it's not a winning strategy. I don't expect him to learn to dance round the ring like he was on Strictly, but surely he could have learnt how to move his head and to cover up. He used to play rugby, and cartwheel in the ring. It's not like he's not athletic. What on earth have his trainers been doing??? I mean what do i know, sod all, but i feel like I could do a better job, and i imagine a lot of you feel the same. You could probably take 100 people off the street who've never boxed and however weak they were every one would at least move their head and put their hands in front of their face. It's ridiculous. You wouldn't get a golfer not bothering to learn to put. If his trainers can't teach him better he should sack them and get someone who can. He also needs to get the weight down and he needs to be training every day. He is an elite sportsman...he shouldn't only be training in camp. He should know he must improve and he should want to and to do so he should be practising all kinds of peripheral, scientific and leftfield techniques to get those marginal 1% gains just as elite racing drivers, cyclists, rugby, golf and tennis players do. At his level it's not enough to just be big and strong. Dubois has just shown us if you are physically blessed and put the work in and try to improve you will. Joe needs to practice to improve not practice to stay the same. Sadly, given what he's put himself through he hasn't had the big pay days. There's probably loads of people reading this richer than him. I'd love to see him do well. I would love to meet him and have a chat...so in the unlikely event you're reading this Joe let me know!

Joyce vs anyone would be intriguing. People need to understand that in boxing everyone can beat each other. Joyce beat Dubois and Parker.. Now all of a sudden Joyce loses 3x and he’s in no man’s land, whilst Dubois and Parker’s careers are thriving.. This is what happens! A few losses doesn’t define you and it doesn’t stop you from beating other top fighters.

He gives up George Foreman as an example, and Bernard Hopkins, who was very ring savvy and didn't take many clean punches, but still got knocked out of the ring in his last fight. George Foreman had a large chunk of time away from the sport before coming back in his 40s, so it wasn't like he'd taken consistent trauma up until that age, also, he fought people like Quawi, Holyfield and Moorer; good punchers, but not wrecking balls like today's top heavyweights.
