The VOSS water doesn't come from VOSS city. That's commonly mistaken by many people. It's actually coming from VATNESTRØM in IVELAND .
    Voss of Norway

The reason BBQ season is from 15th of April to 15th of September is because in that period you are not allowed to make campfires due to the forests being too dry. So instead of making campfires we have BBQ’s at home in the summer

6:22 cause of the weather start to turn to spring / summer ... ofc in april most people probably uses a "Bål" to cook on when on ski trips for example making hot dogs and other stuff, to me it feels alot depends where you are from and what you grew up with as traditions, for example me who is from Nordland we ( my family) used to go to the cabin hut nearby the border to sweden in easter and go on skiing trips every so and day a must to remember is ofc the kvikk lunsj ;) when taking a breathing break basically what us from nordland probably call a pit stop :P
then we sit down on raindeer fur, making a fire to make hotdogs or eating whatever is brough on the trip

Verry nice as always. But i am really curious about the nr5 reason; the silence, as i want to move to Norway soon.¿Would it be the same silence if living in a city in an apartmanent block? ¿Are the neighbour silent by evening/night?

Most of Europe is densely populated, there are roads with traffic in Norway too, so if living near a high traffic road there will be noise. However, many Europeans live with much noise and may not know of what 'silence of nature' means. The most remarkable thing with Oslo, not really it's one of the cities with most green space, but that there are huge recreational areas all around the city, you can take city tram and then hike for hours. So the biggest shock when visiting Norway from UK, except for prices, is how clean, how silent and the space. My biggest shock first time outside Norway, it was people everywhere.

God Bless You in Change! Limited transition stress.... So many more beautiful things to see in this world! Fabulous choices you are making! Thank You so Much! Your blogs are interesting and much enjoyed! I've been twice to Norway:. 1976, a month camping up the coast with car, (three months: Iceland, belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finand, and Russia...amazing memories!) and 2019, six weeks around Stavanger, islands, and fjords.

Sad to see the end of a chapter here in Norway (but there's always a chance of a return!). A great series of informative, fun and truely inspirational videos, Ana. Totally agree with the people! So friendly and helpful! Even to an English guy, who stutters! And the wilderness o.m.g! Breathtaking! (A little bit of nørsk has embedded into my heart). Also, did you notice the mobile phone signal there! Even high up in the mountains! 4g! Norfolk here in England doesn't have that coverage and that's flat! Best of luck on your travels, may it continue it be an awesome adventure! 👌
(Oh! Quick ammendum! BBQ season? Could it be to do with the Northern hemispheres spring and autumn equinoxes?)

The barbeque season is there because of danger of open fire when nature is dry.
In wintertime we make open woodfire.

      Yes Anna. It is restricted.
Not allowed to make "bål" only charcoal. But of course if nature is soaked in water it is ok tomake fire. But this is lokal permission.
So sad you are moving again.
But I hope you will be happy there in your new home.

In our family, we will grill when we hike (or make a fire and cook) all through the year, but bbq is done in the spring, summer and early autumn. The April 15th to September 15th might be because there is a risk of forest fire between those dates, so people BBQ at home instead, or at the beach. Also, welcome back any time, Anna.
