I am an RN who sometimes works in NICU and I am appaled by Lucy Letby. It's one thing to knowingly inflict harm on a patient, it's another to do it to a *newborn.* As nurses we are given a tremendous amount of trust by our patients, we see people at their absolute worse and to abuse that position and contribute to their suffering is nothing short of vile and disgusting. Seriously I mean by the time he got up to like baby e or f I’m like how tf is there not even an investigation yet. I’m not a doctor but I don’t think there can be any reason for that much air in their bodies other than an intentional embolism so right there should have started an investigation but even if it could be attributed to a medical condition or something over a dozen babies some of whom were relatively healthy died and in most if not all cases she was the last person seen with the baby and seen standing over them. I really don’t understand how she was able to get away with it for so long and the administration is just like stop making a fuss what’s the big deal it’s just a few dozen babies dying while in our care. If I was one of the doctors that suspected her even if the administrators and police can’t or won’t do anything I will make sure to never leave her alone with a baby again even if I have to stand next to her every time she attends to a patient

Former Pre-Medicine student and future nursing graduate in the next few months. It honestly makes sense why they have certain policies in place such as insulin needing to be a two person check in many hospitals prior to administration. I cant believe the hospital administration allowed Lucy to continue to work until she had taken so many lives for it to suddenly become an issue. Thats such horrible negligence from the higher ups in the hospital. Life imprisonment isnt enough of a punishment for this woman. I hope these families for each story found peace. But this really brings to light how not everyone who works in health-care is a good person at heart.

I’m shocked! It’s been a week since my mom told me that she found out a history about a man from the 2ww lived in the same town as we did. But she didn’t know who he was.
And NOW I’m listening this and here the name ow my town OMG the f*king angel of death 😭

Lucy Letby tried to kill so many babies that Joel had to go through the whole damn alphabet.
Sadly, reports say the prison she is in at the moment is more like a hotel and she has her own private key 🔑 to her cell. And she has become BFFs with fellow toddler killer Sian Hedges. They reportedly hang out and watch true crime shows all day.
UPDATE: Thank God Lucy Letby just lost her appeal yesterday in court. But she has one more shot at another appeal. Hopefully, the judge denies her again. It is appalling how many times already that this monster was let go and allowed to keep killing.

How can a board make such decisions without taking the word of the hands on nurses and doctors into serious consideration!!! How absurd of them. They even have a mother witnessing the nurse.

I have personally nearly been offed by nurses or doctors on several occasions. These incidents are down in my records as "adverse events". I managed to stop at least three more "adverse events" by spotting they were trying to give me the same dose twice, of some very serious heart drugs, and informing them. Hearing, "Whoops, you're right", coming from a medics own mouth is horrifying. That's just due observable disinterest. Terrifying to think what they could get away with if they were concentrating and meant it.

    1) 99.99999% NURSES ARE THE GREATEST HEROS OF OUR WORLD
    2) I was in the hospital with an infection that left my hands in terrible pain that I described as if I had put my hands flat on a table and someone dropped a bowling ball on them (don't ask me. Infections are weird creepy things) & when I was in the hospital for it, one of the nurses SQUEEZED MY HAND!! And smiled a little.

Lucy was able to keep working because if the hospital made a move on her or aired their suspicion, they'd have several law suits. They'd rather let babies die than pay millions in court. Sick.

The Lucy letby case always makes me sick. Chester hospital is the worst I gave birth to my first born in 2017 their in the height of her vile murders. And my second in 2019. I'm so glad my baby was born healthy. It makes me so sad to think whilst I was was on the ward there was babies being murdered underneath where I was. I opted for a home birth with my third. And all of my friends opt to go over to Liverpool now to have their midwifery care. How anyone could do that angers me so much!!

The Lucy story, didn't like..the SAME EXACT THING happen in England in the late 80s/early 90s? Beverly Allit. Turns out she had Munchausen's by Proxy. She LOVED the attention she got from "saving" some of the babies.

Cleft palates in babies, occurs from an extreme lack of Folic Acid. Spina Bifida as well is a result of the lack of this substance . Folic Acid closes & properly fuses the two halves of an embryo"s brain, spine & body together.

Oh Please it don't take 10 or more deaths of infants for a Hospital to know who's killing them with all the Psychiatrist working around their they knew who was doing it they did not want her arrested then they would be short of help and they would have to come out the office and do the job themselves until they got another Registered Nurse in there but do to the Law Suits Publicly ect they had no choice but to have her arrested
