- Roblox is definitely going wrong. The pink screen of death glitch is back, there is now a flashing frozen screen glitch, and apparently the red screen of death also exists. Random game crashing is increasing & some accessories are disappearing, becoming smaller, or simply getting content deleted!

I'm guessing all of these problems are caused by the new anti cheat they added. It's causing a bunch of problems for a lot of people. Also, I play Roblox on Linux using Wine, but it looks like they're blocking people from playing on Wine now, so I'm not allowed to play Roblox anymore. I'm probably just going to have to end up leaving if they don't stop blocking it.

It's probably due to the new anti-cheat, I know exploiters are annoying but lagging, crashing, and having flashing problems is worst and more annoying than exploiters.

The 3d clothing one is easily explainable as the avatar editor preview has been buggy ever since 2014 i believe. It's a mere rendering bug and will not be a problem in games.
For the “flashing screen of death”, I have encountered that quite a few times, but it was on a very old device. So far, I’ve never encountered it on a newer device. So maybe it’s just low memory or because the device is too old.

Minecraft also had this pink glitch issue, it only happened on servers when it had a texture overload from so many players and also involved their rendering engine. Roblox probably uses a similar rendering engine and it experiences texture overload due to many players resulting in this.

I haven't been experiencing the crashed thing while playing for a long time now but recently it just happened one time so hopefully it won't continue further.
Edit: Oh and about the accessories on your avatar glitch thing. I've been experiencing some of my layered clothing are not working inside games like they're completely invisible inside games for example the holdable flower layered clothing or even the pet layered clothing they just vanished inside games and it was working before, it's just these recent couple weeks that this weird glitch is happening.

I remember like 3 weeks ago when I was playing MM2, the entire server kept freezing. Around 5 of us in the same area all had our games frozen, and after 15 seconds we unfroze and all died because the murderer wasn't frozen. It happened again the next day, and the entire server froze in place. It wasn't like last time though, you could move around and everyone was stuck in place.
I thought I was gonna get internet disconnected but the game went back to normal shortly after. Before that, though, my screen would just glitch tf out sometimes when I played roblox. The screens' resolution would get cut in half, but I was still fullscreen so half of my screen was just purely white and my game froze. It was really hard to close the game and took a while with task manager.
Kind of ironic that this only started happening after the anti cheat rolled out. Something supposed to help roblox is ruining it

Thank you for the flash/strobe warning! I have suffered from migraines for over 40 years and these types of things cause me great pain.
I play on iPad and issue I’m having is my screen freezes and then spazzes out. I have to do a hard close to get out of the game. I have deleted ROBLOX app and reinstalled it and that doesn’t work. This started happening on Sunday when my ROBLOX app updated but doesn’t happen in every game thus far. I’ve also gotten the random memory low warning on screen which is weird because I have a ton of memory left on my IPad. So many players that I know and that play on iPad/iPhone are getting the memory low warning. I’m thinking somehow the last update doesn’t want to play nice with iOS systems and ROBLOX really needs to get it together and get it fixed. It’s bad enough not to be able to play ROBLOX games but even worse is when players have paid money for in game items and can’t play. Players that pay for items in ROBLOX are what keep the lights on at ROBLOX so they need to get better lightbulbs and keep the platform playable for everyone at all times. No excuse for these types of issues. It’s 2023 and technology is more advanced than what ROBLOX seems to be using which is just sad

I have the flash glitch really often and the pink screen of death sometimes, but the pink screen of death always comes with the flashes. I also saw the clothing glitch. Nobody had hair or accessories anymore
To fix the glitches for mobile just close and reopen the app. It will keep coming but that will allow to you to stop it.
the problem that happened at 1:00 is happening to me everytime i join a game. Everything runs fine and it launches fine but after like 10 seconds it freezes and crashes without the normal crashing popup that says "roblox has crashed - please try again". :(
same, it’ll load completely fine but then after 10 seconds it’ll freeze and kick me out of the client immediately. i can’t even open the roblox app, it’ll do the same. at first i thought it was because of something i had downloaded , like a extension or something. i deleted my fps unblocked + shaders, i even deleted my Roblox chrome extensions. nothing worked.

Edit: To not make it worse for mobile: 1.dont charge and play
2. dont use the mobile devices near heaters
3. While charging put it in a cool place.
Also it maybe overheating a bit

Tip for pink screen of death (iOs and iPadOs only): if you exit roblox and wait 2-3 seconds for allowing the game to render again without getting kicked by the game, the pink screen goes away!

@@DccToon I have used a samsung tablet before. The android version of Roblox kicks you from the game to the homepage instantly after you go to the homescreen of the tablet.
Ive only been getting the frequent crashes, but they are usually only occuring when joining a game. It couldn't be the RAM overflowing, as I have 32 GB, not GPU incompatibility, as I have a generally modern graphiccs card, and really nothing else, as my computer is up-to-date in all aspects. We can't really do anything about this, we just have to wait for ROBLOX to fix the PC client stability. For mobile, my phone is hot garbage, but it runs fine so no data there.
TL;DR The errors are due to the app's instability, and are pretty random.

I'm pretty sure Roblox is still 32 bit and so there's a limit on how much RAM Roblox can use, the limit is 4 GB, and not only that but also there's an integer limit.
@@xenstence Task manager says it still is 32 bit at least, so I doubt it's 64 bit yet but Roblox IS planning on making it 64 bit though (I'm pretty sure at least)

Okay, recently the client did something that might be related to the crashes. The rendering must have messed up, because all the billboard text and highlighted objects were frame stacking (I don't know what it's actually called.) and it looked like the MS solitaire easter egg.

when i tried to play roblox on my pc it would literally crash on the loading screen every single time. I don’t know how this happened because it was working normally for a while. If i was lucky enough, i was able to get into a game, but it just crashes like 30 mins later

I only got the Low Memory Warning (on iPhone mobile) with the newest Twice Square free item. My guess/theory is that the switch from the item detector to note post for the pigtails was a way around the error.

bro this is happening with me, everytime i enter in any roblox game all textures are black and parts of my characters dont load (like arms and legs) and if load are with grey texture and dont make animations. i've had a couple problems with roblox for the past 3 days,

i was able to remove the anti cheat update and revert but when i went to open the app it just did a roblox update and re installed the anti cheat so i guess just wait for roblox to fix it. there is no fix otherwise i've tried all options lol
Notice how Roblox goes wrong after they team with byfron. Byfron is way to high end for roblox to use it, even if It's a lower grade byfron.
Byfron is whay fortnite uses to stop cheaters, yet they still get through. All Roblox needs to do is get their people working and just ban the exploiters/hackers. And honestly, who cares at this point? If they aren't breaking the game like removing items, flinging, killing aimbotting, god moding, etc. What's it matter? There are some chill exploiters that have it for fun, and don't ruin the games, honesty it makes it more fun. But i understsnd where people come from when they say "it's still annoying"
Point is. Robkox has been out since 2006, why are they only now trying to get rid of hackers. How many years have they had them? NOT to mentian john doe, and the other strong famous hackers that have actually hacked roblox themselves..
They need to worry more about the people trying to bypass clothing, games, and audios. Worry more about the people getting banned for little to nothing, and Roblox giving zero reason for it, or even deleting accounts. Need to worry about the major problems that high end people cost. Roblox says they trying to make it more fun, they're making it worse, and it's only going to get worse. I hate to say it, but is roblox actually going to die out? If so, the biggest question that'll be asked, will people get refunds?

the crashing for me was caused by the new method for unlocking fps, you could try removing the json file
Same, I used fps unlocker and it kicked me after 20 mins and it showed the error

after i got banned and fixing the 403 glitch on my alt, i got unbanned and then i went on to play but everything is just wrong. games were laggy and i keep crashing, tried some solutions but still get often disconnected, fps dropping randomly. idk if this is my pc problem or roblox problem. sometimes it says like roblox client failed to load or something but i am still able to play, just need to join a lot of times to work

The pink screen of death is probably caused by a rendering error or a texture error
Also caused by the GPU being incompatible with minimum requirements such as the DirectX, OpenGL or Vulkan version.

The same thing happens to me, I thought they hated me or sum. When I reinstall it from the most random way possible, it's good until the next day, then it crashes again. Now I know they didn't target me, lol.
I've recently started getting stupid errors like, I try booting the game but it crashes before the game even boots up. I had literally shut down my computer, reopen it. And it keeps crashing. My friend told me it happened once and quit after like one day. I was always able to run the game before this started happening, and I can run other games. At this point I think this is just Roblox severs being severely stupid. Seriously, they should be able to hire people to actually make the severs, I don't know more functional.

@@unkneoen It did fix after a day, but even then it crashed once, and the game delays. (i.e. The camera delays to be actually wanting to move to a direction) At least I can still play now, so that's nice.

So yesterday at about 2pm or so i was just playing roblox on my laptop (ideapad gaming laptop, windows)
when i was just going through games i have favorited and joined ''starving artists''
i tried to start drawing something to sell when all of a sudden my screen froze, i couldn't even open anything, close or even barely move my mouse so i had to turn off my computer.
When i turned it on and tried joining a game in roblox again it kept sending the ''roblox has crashed due to an unexpected error'' screen, so i joined a game that didn't require a lot of power to join and it worked, then i lowered my graphics (i usually play on 7-10, had to lower to 1) and then joined for example ''dragon adventures''.
I never had the problem of lagging on this laptop but i was even lagging on 1 graphic, and the fans of my laptop started going crazy.
I have a ton of storage, memory, my graphic cards are all updated, my laptop was cleaned like a week ago so there couldn't be any dust or anything, my cooling system works fine so it can't be overheating, i tried uninstalling and reinstalling roblox multiple times, nothing worked so i currently have it uninstalled and am waiting for any glitch fixes.
(also to add) when i tried opening the beatmap game called OSU! it said i was missing a graphic card or something like that, it has never reacted like this before yesterday, uninstalling and reinstalling that didn't work either.

ah roblox, the multibillion dollar company that cant fix their website.
Recently, about 2 days ago, any game I join, the assets will not load, games with loading screens take forever to load in, games without loading screens put me in the game but everyones textures and models are not there. I've tried reinstalling roblox among other things and nothing has worked. This all happened after roblox went 64 bit for the byfron anti cheat thing (yes im also using 64bit system), hopefully they fix this soon enough
Recently I've been crashing for no reason when trying to start up a Roblox game, I've attempted a ungodly amount of fixes yet nothing works, so add that to the mix and you got a really big issue Roblox needs to fix.
You can fix it if you get better wifi because sometimes when im at different houses, one house has problems but the other doesnt, and ones wifi is better than the other so i think thats the problem too
Usually Roblox freezes after 10-30mins for me with fps unlocker (165fps. Probably my monitor HZ peak. 144fps more stable?). My PC is 'top-end' for Roblox I'd say. All drivers are up to date... I have unlocked FPS fully and locked 165fps via AMD Adrenalin tool (for my RX6750xt card). Using the flags fps rewriting too.
Roblox keeps crashing every time i join for the first time, but it works normally when i join the 2nd time
Yo it happened to me while i was playing roblox I kept on trying to play a game but everytime it start in any second it literally would crash. I recommend using desktop version so it would let you play without crashing lol
I saw it in every role play game I played including: Club Roblox, Brookhaven, and Berry Avenue
With me, my game will freeze yet I can still hear the sound effects. The only thing I can do is restart the game at that point.

For all the glitchs i think its when something is wrong with your phone when you never uptade the system or put the wrong time
I have been getting the unexpected error has occurred when I have disabled smart firewall and uninstalled roblox and reinstalled it and it still happens its definitely a roblox issue

BRUH! I watched like 50+ videos to stop the roblox crash issue and the first one worked for right about 2 days and now nothing works. Even my friend who is a technical engineer said he couldn't do anything to help me like bro fix ur anti-cheat system roblox. Though I found a way to stop the issue, sadly for me its too complex. If ur wondering what the solution is- Create a new account on ur pc/laptop(not a google chrome acc) like when u are putting the password to ur comp, it will display the name of ur acc, just click make new account and try from there! Although u would have to login to ur gmail and u would logged out of everything(which is why i dont do it), u can try to play roblox then! Hope this helps
The type of crash i get is if I try opening roblox (through a game or the desktop app) it just freezes for a minute or less and it just closes
No error appears just closes itself, no warning

No im not using linux I am using windows it takes like up to 3o crashes till i can join but it still crashes alot I do crash sometimes but it wasn't this constant, it happened when the byfron anti cheat update released

This happened to me, the byfron anticheat is very annoying as whenever i try to open certain games it freezes and "Roblox has had an error and has to quit, were sorry!" pops up. it happens everytime i try to join a game. I hope roblox fixes this because i cant play now.

Im getting one where the game freezes, but then starts flickering, and the top left of the screan sort of matches what you are doing. even leaving the game has that previous screen still flashing on the same game when the flcikering started. but imagine a chil or anyone with a health risk of flashing lights, this could potentially bring a child to a hospital.

roblox just keeps telling me that there was an unexpected error, the only way to fix it was to factory reset my pc, then it works for a day or two, then starts doing it again

The reason why all of these glitches are happening because, its not how many people, the servers struggling, It has to do with the code on Roblox, Every 1 month or 2, you have to rewrite your code to something newer, Roblox's code is very old, And they need to update it fast, before anything gets worst, This is the reason why Active Incident is alot on Roblox, and pink screen of death, flickering/flashing screen, the red screen of death and so many more, I got a problem once where the Roblox textures on the mobile app and they were scrambled, Friends was the settings icon, i think, So, Roblox needs to do something now before things get worst and the whole website/code breaks.

the frezing some times can be solved by pressing ctrl+alt+supr and close that window that appears with that command, and roblox turns normal but the screen it has glitches effects
