I like the 5.9. I've been happy with mine. However I haven't been happy with the 46re transmission.

Ya 5.9 has been a reliable engine for years. What problem have you been having with the trans?

@Blackandblueoffroad shifting problems. In and out of overdrive and reverse slips bad. I've replaced shift solenoids, clutches replaced and new torque converter. Just keep chasing issues

Oh that's no fun. I have 4 transmissions so I hope one of them stays solid for me.
