Tell us your thoughts on that crazy game!
I got more from Liverpool and Turkey teeth spaffing their season up the stands at Goodison than our weirdness. That’s what this season has done. Bloody balls!
This game was tame compared to some of our games this season. The last 20 minutes was actually pretty relaxing… or I’m just used to the chaos at this point
Without rashford,we can afford to win
"Journalism is in the gutter..." - Yet, you do the Papertalk each morning Jay.. Hypocrite much??
No Rashford, no problems
On the bright side, Klopp’s farewell tour is going very well. They said farewell to the FA Cup, Europa League, and Premier League in the space of a month
😂😂😂😂😂 lol
😂😂😂 this comment needs 100k likes
😂
Had both matches on. Father in law came in and asked why I'm in a meh mood. He saw the score and understood. Told him the score on the bottom TV (1-0 to EVE at the time) makes my heart happy. 😂 Celebrated Everton's 2nd like it was a winner for us. 😅
Klopp this year - 3rd with League cup.
Eric this year - 6th with Fa Cup final
Klopp last year - 5th
Eric last year - 3rd, FA Cup final & EFL cup
Klopp got 8th and 4th in his first 2 seasons.
Both managers have had stuff to deal with, injury crisis etc. but klopp in the prem averages a finish position of 3.5.
Yet one gets blowies because he got a title in his 9 years and the other needs sacking for having a season like klopp did in his 8th.
Fickle football.
Omg guys, we have positive goal difference now!
❤️ United are back baby! 💪👊🎉
and it is only 12 goals of Newcastle's GD
This United team has turned me into a robot, I don't feel anything for them anymore. I'm just watching Man United because of the love I have for the club but I don't give a f*** anymore, I just want this season to be over so the club can make the necessary changes 😕😕
It feels like we say the same at the end of every season for years but nothing ever changes :(
Same here mate 😊
"Buy a midfield destroyer" lol im hearing that for a decade now. Its not going to happen
United have a midfield destroyer, Mctominay
Except for that they bought Casmiro who was outstanding the first year. BTW - the destroyer is dead, what's needed is a defensively solid regista, those are unicorns a the top level, for sale. Clubs rather play with My Little Pony as their crest than to part with players like Kimmich or Camavinga.
Stick Onana in there and bring back DDG
Maybe Lisandro Martinez could play that position when needed.
@@neoncolourmarker8yearsago196 Aye but we need one that destroys the other team not ours
We just need to ride this season out boys and hope for the best 🫶
I thought today's game was a positive, we dominated and got 4 goals which was less than we should have - yes, it was Sheffield United - AND we conceded two shit goals, but, it was a step in the right direction. Between now and the end of the season, we need to get morale and belief up, so we can give City a good game in the final.
Step in the right direction Man U are delusional 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
as long as rashford stays on the bench, we are gucci
Yes. Finally someone used the correct words. We are drained
been saying for ages if we swap fernandes and mouth from 10-8 we would do much better. fernandes has the legs and effort to play alongside mainoo until the rest of the season and let mount play further up to link hojlund which is his best position
100% but then mainoo gets isolated at mid. I dont think either Mount or Bruno knows how to defend since they naturally tend to attack
Facts! This season is putting us through the ringer! We were so much better without Rashford tonight. Need to sort out the bloody defence!
Yes we were. One touch passing and movement off the ball and hell even rasmus got a chance which he tapped home like strikers should do.
Stu, I feel your pain, when Onana had that Howler I had to put the TV off and go to bed. For my own mental health, this season has to end soon. It will be the death of me.
How you guys gonna call a 6 goals game boring. It was anything but. Frustrating at times ofcourse but that was fun to watch overall
This is the most draining season of my United-watching life. Even David Moyes and LVG had some relaxing games where you could enjoy it and relax. Not once have I watched United this season and gone right get a beer in and have two feet up.
It's not worse than the rangnick season. Not far off though.
Worst tactical setup post Fergie. Worst football since Fergie. I feel you pal. But it’s almost over and the bald men is nearly gone
That was only this bad second half this season has been shit from the start @@mundolioknows6447
@@raph2295 That bald man has a name and he did the best he could with a totally disfunctional board. Paid way too much for mediocre players but he shouldnt have had to buy those players himself. There should have been a proper director for that. At Ajax we had Overmars for that.
Plus of course the injury waves throughout the season which didnt help. I still think Eric is the right coach for ManUtd. But he needs backup. If you think its over when a manager goes you are wrong in the case of ManUtd. It says something when acclaimed managers like Van Gaal and Mourinho cant improve ManUtd.
Well said Pieter those are all facts and to add one to what you said the bald man Ten Hag has the highest win percentage of any united manager in his first 2 seasons. But by all means we should listen to the clowns and get southgate instead…. 🤡logic
I thought it was a good game. Lowest amount of shots against us since January.
Aside from two defensive mistakes I thought we did very well
They scored on an onana mistaken pass and the same late runner cutback that we have had problems with all season. Possession wise thats the best we have looked while holding the ball we were patient and probing which doesnt happen with normal starters. Overall not bad for a team with only one actual centerback and wanbissaka playing out of position giving us nothing going forward and a center midfielder with a battery running his heart. It could have been a much worse result. I also loved the debruyne reference because ive said the exact same thing before when he tries to create it doesnt come off sometimes and they lose possession but sometimes it does and he gets the assist. Its like the lotto ya cant win if ya dont buy a ticket.
people keep sleeping on Ten Hag, i swear if he gets his team OMG the football will be Elite. I watched his last season at Ajax, his team was special... some or a lot of these players are just not up to it!
Deluded
@@robertnelson3353a random and pointless option not grounded in facts
If united is dumb enough to sack ten hag he will succeed elsewhere. I mean they sacked ragnick and he is said to be the top of bayerns list by Fabrizio these days. Its almost like the way we have been run for the last decade was really bad and the club just blames the manager instead of fixing the problems.
There was a clear diiference in how we played and the pace we played. There was clearly different instructions
It’s a win. What’s wrong with that?
The Bruno injury. A player fall on his hand in the end against Coventry. You could see he was holding it a lot
Note that Antony went off after 55 minutes when we were losing 2-1….after coming on last Sunday when we were winning 3-0.
What a difference he makes 😡x
Wayne Rooney factor is probably the best shout in a long time 🫡🫡
Ten haag should stay for me, one more season or we just keep giving managers 2 season then resetting.....how long did it take ferguson.....klopp. stability breeds success
YES finally someone gets it!!!
Jesus! All round to Ste’s for a party!! 🎉
Its the way Bruno loses the ball, lots of the time it's unforced errors or because he doesn't look or take a second to compose himself.
Bruno has his qualities but I feel he could take a little more care with his passes and general play, for example ode and kdb rarely lose the ball cheaply. They lose the ball of course but rarely cheaply because they have taken that 0.5 second before they make a pass
ultimately, fans want their team to win. You all are so happy today.
are we praising Bruno cos he fianlly had a good game out of last 10, and that was against sheffield. hilarious.
You want him to never play well?
@@user-if6pm5rp9w i want consistency, i want him to play always well. not every 10th game. consistent teams are made of consistent players and those win titles.
12 goal contributions in the last 10 games. But henkkas2698 says he finally had a good game so let's not praise him
@@yblackie i still dont find him being any good in last 10games apart from sheffield game. so whats your point? haaland have scored 20 goals this season in PL and missing double the amount of sitters, i call haalands season bad too. also they both "fail" against top teams.
Straight swap. Our #10 for Eze. Palace would take that, yes?
Not trying to say that the following players are necessarily bad, but I also wouldn't be sad if they moved on; Garnacho, Scott, Anthony, Rashford, Eriksson, Casemero, Maguire, AWB, Shaw, Varane, DVB, Hannibal, and Tony Martial
Garnacho? U r stupid

Ste needs a hug. At least we had the fergie years. I have two sons, big united fans, they've only had the glazer years to support united.. Can you imagine 😢this is the norm for them..
The thing for me is, is it's hard to like this team and squad apart from a few. Spoiled, unprofessional, mega famous, mega rich. It's a circus not a football squad. My main gripe is nobody has gotten better or improved while they've been here. If by chance we do offload players, they more often than not regain form and confidence because they are going to actual football squads. Not the commercial sideshow that we are.
Spot on journalism is in the gutter
It's a win. Stop being so depressed.
The defence is all injured
As bad as it was yesterday. It was better than having Rashy on.
Didn't see Antony starting this game tbh, should be just shelved now, give him a gew minutes in the cup final as a thank you, then stick the bubble wrap on him and kick him over to Europe.
😂😂Ste looks like he's getting grumpier if that's a word, every season
We're all getting grumpier with every passing year. That's how you get grumpy old men.
Amarabat is genuinely one of the worst players ive seen wear the shirt in terms of pure being out of their depth and no were near good enough man looks like hes bricking it everytime i watch him 😂
It is hard to really enjoy these wins especially if you have seen an actual good utd team.
Rashford = Makosi from Big Brother

I know how he feels.....its been a dreadful season to watch utd

How are we 6th the way we have played this season? How? We've been bish all season and we're still 6th. Tonight was as controlled as I've seen all season. Not great, we're not great but decent. It was Sheffield but we're just Utd and this season we've been awful. Amad has to start before Antony and Mainoo is awesome.
Antoney should have stayed on. Amad did jack shit.
the looked better with Rashford. I mean, they let in 2 easy goals but actually one of the better all around performances. They passed the ball around well and didn't have Rashford there to stop all momentum and go on an aimless fruitless dribble. I don't think Anthony is good enough for man utd, but he fit in this system, he kept the ball moving and pressed. I don't care if he or Amad play on the right, both fit the tactics better than Rashford.
We played the worst team in premier league history. They sat in their box for the entire match except on 2 occasions where they scored. But hey, any excuse to obsess over Rashford.
United can keep Ten Hag or sack him personally I don’t like what he’s doing the players he buys the team selection the unidentifiable style of football the midfield is nonexistent they don’t score enough goals and concede far too many for me it’s just rubbish Onana and Antony wouldn’t get a game for Darlington
Let’s ride the wave and enjoy the ride until we get consistency. Young front 3 give them time. They’re exciting. We haven’t had a settled back four all season either. Patience. BACK THE MANAGER
I don't see Bruno at playmaking roles at all, he is gonna make too many hollywood balls and probably lose a lot of them and he has a lightweight way of pressing, most of our forwards do. Yes Bruno is our creators, but when it is not working for him, it looks very frustrating. Again, it is our fault because sometimes he is our only source of creating. If he plays for City for 25 - 30 games/a season, he will look worldclass, but play for us for 40 - 5x games/season then some games it will be shite.
Wtf are you rambling on about?
Take the positives, in the space of a month Liverpools quadruple has fallen apart, they lost the FA Cup at OT, lost the league at Goodison and lost the Europa League at Anfield 😂😂👏👏
Who thought United was going to throw away 4-2? 😅
Middle fingers
Where's long haired dude gone?

Liverpool beat Sheff Utd late on with 75% possession and 27 shots on target
Utd beat Sheff Utd with 75% possession and 27 shots on target

Our fan base is the worst on earth
True
So the bin dippers must have battered us this season eh? Drained? Take an upper 🫨🫨
So because we've mirrored Liverpool's stats and result against a relegation team ONCE we can just ignore the rest of the season and not find this season exhausting and shite.... Great take
Liverpool are in a title race. We’re in a race for 6th place. If you wanna celebrate that, then fill your boots.
@@mattchupichu2179 Not very capable are you? Salright - keep doing you x
Man United can still finish 5th if they go on a win streak
Newcastle has massive injury problems like us. They are definitely dropping points.
Tottenham has very tough fixtures ahead, injuries as well.

I'd see a Dr about those ears
fergie wanted to embarrass rangers for the way they treated his wife when he was a player thats all the disgrace comment was about
If ten hag starts Anthony next game he should be sacked… I lost count how many back passes he did after 30th minute
Agree that Anthony isn't at the standard we need, and I'd rather have someone with a decent right foot, though in terms of the passes back and sideways, Grealish does exactly the same. Difference is Grealish has players around who make overlaps and better runs.
@@davep3936 I get that amad came on he beat two Sheffield United players that was bigger and taller than him and the stadium clapped Anthony gets the ball and plays it back all the time
@@collins1615 aye, Diallo's practically 2 footed and can beat players on both sides. I can only think that ETH is hoping to preserve Anthony's value ahead of a summer sale, but the lad's not making it easy :-)
Our style of play is so predictable every team we meet plays better than us, we do have average players but if ten hag can’t switch up the formation with what we have we might face the same problem next season
@@collins1615 Very frustrating. That said, during the Arsenal Chelsea game, they mentioned how vital Saliba is to them. So I checked their average points per game last season, before he got injured (2.64) and after (1.64). Utds points per game this season is about 1.61, so I don't want to judge Ten Hag too harshly till we've got our first choice back line playing regularly.
Being a utd fan should come with free antidepressants, They are a hard watch these days.
As for the comment about the Academy, does it really really matter, when 90% of these lads will be moved on?
Wilson, Harrop, Possebon, Angel Gomes, Frazier Campbell, Chong, Garner, Bernard, Borthwick Jackson, Levitt, Tunicliffe, Parnell Cole, Mengi, Ramazani and so on and so on.
Wheatley doesn't have a chance, let's be honest.
Guy got less than ten minutes.
Ten.
It's nothing but a stat.
Ten minutes in a EPL match is where it begins. So many stars started with subs with less minutes. Barcelona prime team was from academy. Ten Haag uses academy player from ajax too. Mainoo garnacho kwambala all made it to starting 11. All academy players can't start😂.
We are so awful I am over the moon we got a win.
Bruno is so Good. He deserves better around him.
You want clickbaits only
Bruno needs restraint, if he played a deeper role he would be deadly. Far too wasteful even though he runs around giving everything. He constantly opts for the most difficult technique for the highlight play or picks the wrong pass, usually trying to get Rashford going.
Looked better without rashford.
Now this is the dumbest comment iv'e seen all night.
Difficult passes can only break down low block defending teams
Every am emotionally drained myself i love football to all
Nothing but negativity in every video, comment and tweet after every result. Are we f*ing serious here? Are the team not allowed to so much as concede a goal now? What are the standards here for us to not come out of a game frustrated and depressed? What delusion are we under as a fanbase concerning our level? Get a grip lads, getting embarrassed by our fans lately.
Man you read my mind ...these lots were my favourite United Channel...but nowadays these guys are such negative pricks...can't believe Paddock has turned into such PRATS
You didn’t watch the match did you? It’s more than just the result - it’s long term and overall performance. It’s the exhaustion of following a team that has underperformed for 10 years. 3 points at home against Sheffield Utd isn’t a talking point - there’s a lot more to talk about.
@@baggeeboy I did watch it, and we were as shite as always. That's my point though, at some point we have to stop expecting a shite team to win every game with a clean sheet, zero shots conceded and 99% possession. Kicking off at a shite team for not being able to do that just keeps us stuck in the toxic cycle. At some point we have to accept our current level and start providing a consistent base of positive support for the team to build on.
U want sack the manager and keep the players that drain u. Complaining can't help. Learn to celebrate wins idiots
I don't think Garnacho has the quality to start at United. I feel like he's been a bright spark at times, but I think that's very relative to the current standards at the club. For me he has too many areas of his game that need too much work. He's kinda quick, he tries hard and he loves a counter attack, grand... but his decision making, speed of thought, variety in taking on a man, ability in close quarters dribbling and passing are all miles off where they need to be. I would keep him as an impct player, or a lad to give your starting wingers a rest, but I don't see a future beyond that for him at United. I feel the more INEOS sort out the club, the less and less we see of Garnacho.
He's been our best winger this season but that bar is so low that his speed and workrate make it almost a decision by default.
He still needs to learn that part of a winger's job is to create opportunities for others. He's very selfish at times. Nothing wrong with wanting to score, but there's others that want to score too.
That being said, he's definitely a proper talent and he will learn hopefully and continue to grow. He's undeniably exciting to watch. One of our bright young sparks. You'd be mad to not push him on as a starter. He's earned it.
He's 19.
I swear if we were back in 2005 you would say the same of Cristiano. The lad’s 19, he will improve. His mentality and talent is there, and those are the things you can’t coach. He will mature and start mixing his stuff up, but he def needs to be a big part of our future!
He's 19 ffs. He's played a lot of football in a dysfunctional team. I think he's done bloody well considering.
@@jumpingalaxies951 That's such a weird response because my comment clearly hints at the fact he's young, but has too much to work on to be a top player. Like I don't know what you think you've added by saying his age. It's not that big of a factor. Mainoo is a year younger and has shown levels more in multiple facets of his game. Garnacho is 20 in a few weeks, you would want to see better improvements in his all round game with all the minutes he's gotten. Still loses the ball too much, doesn't pass quick enough, doesn't get his head up, doesn't do the simple things well. Every time he's goes into a duel I don't even think he has an idea of what he wants to do, it's a toss up if him or the defender come out with the ball.
You give young Zaha, Obertan, Bellion and all these peripheral lads the minutes he's had, I doubt you see much difference. His ceiling is impact player at United, or something like Pereira, Zaha, Josh King... good player for bottom half Premier League clubs.
I like howson but he has to work on his vocabulary. It is tiring for the ears to hear the F” word 50 times in one sentence.
Yes united have been terrible this season. Yes I've turned my TV off in the first 20 min for 80% of uniteds games this season but most of our fans just find a way to complain about anything. It's pathetic. No matter what we d9. It's a joke seriously.
I don't think it's just this season though right? We've seen this crap for the last 10 years it's nothing new we know it isn't aswell.
I don't and will never trust these players because we've seen it for such a long time.
I mean celebrate the wins ofcourse but bigger picture we are no where near where we want to be.
I don't care. Struggles are part of a club. I am not gonna shite away because we are going down I will cheer till we get back up. The ten hag out fans complaining and moaning after a win won't help. 64 injuries from Fabrizio romano on utd this season. What the
@@boi1da284 That's exactly my point how many managers have we had that's tried to fix the mess that we're in post Fergie? Who has been able to do it? Not any of them. We've seen glimpses of change but that's a bout it. It's never been sustained. The problems at the club run way deeper than any manager. The only thing we can do is to just to accept that we're not that club anymore. We're not the United of old anymore. Teams may fear us by name but they certainly aren't fearing us on the pitch anymore. But our fans are so fickle. They complain about every single thing even when the club is doing good. They act like we're still world beaters. I'm sorry but we're not. Not anymore. We just have to support our team in which ever way possible and have hope that things will eventually work out and get better. Last night was a good performance. There were a lot of positives last night. Was it perfect? No. Did united make it hard on themselves? Yes. But that's just where we're at at the moment.
