When I was 17 years old I asked my Mom about Birth Control and she told me “Just don’t do it”… I graduated high school 9 months pregnant. Parents need to get comfortable talking about sex with their kids and not shame them for it, it’s a natural thing.

Took away so much ❤ Y'all have been talking about this book for ages, and to finally have a candid chat w the author was quite .. serendipitous?! ❤️ one tiny note: would you consider asking guests if the prefer fluffy/furry sunken seats to feel more relaxed & natural? And maybe the same seats for you two so the whole room feels cozier & warmer?
This is such a taboo topic that disabled girls (and boys) from being confident in their sexuality and safe in their sexual spaces. It leaves kids vulnerable and doesn’t encourage positive relationships. So I appreciate this podcast taking the time to create a comfortable and safe space to talk about these things and be willing to learn and mess up and explore. I love the podcast. I love you guys both, I wait for your podcast on a weekly basis.
