Captain Swan is my OTP for the show! They helped each other grown into their best selves by listening and supporting one another. They were also super sexy together! ;) Their relationship is relationship goals! Both were damaged, but overcame that damage with one another's help. That's a truly beautiful thing! Henry and Cinderella have no chemistry sadly. Ruby and Dorthy were a adorable and I wish we had gotten WAY more of them! Their story was a bit rushed, but the two actresses brought great chemistry together that helped make up for that. Belle and Rumplestiltskin started out so swoon-worthy, but Rumple messed up WAY too much. Snow and Charming are nice, but a little boring and to perfect to be relatable most of the time.

I could't say it better myself. Snow White is my favorite on this show and her love with Charming always makes me smile. They show me that true love really is the most powerful magic of all.

The ruby and dorthy episode wasnt even Very good. I mean the first time we see alice and robin together is barely even 2 minutes worth and they had more chemistry in that 2 monutes then ruby and dorthy ever will.
I mean... in the end, I felt like Hades was just using Zelena's love as a means to an end... that's why I don't think they were a nice couple. She really loved him, but it wasn't enough for him... kinda like Rumbelle, actually. The difference is that they gave Rumple quite the time to actually truly change. It’s A Chair Agreed. It’s hard to care about Snow and Charming as a couple when the show’s existence itself is proof they will always love each other, but with Rumbelle it was great to see Rumple let someone in after years of abandonment & regret as well as his struggle between his addiction to dark magic & true happiness. But I’ve noticed that Belle had nothing to gain from the relationship - she was there just to help Rumple be a better person. I wish we could’ve seen more of how Rumple helped her take charge of her own destiny, or stand up for herself & others, or something.

(Or she chose Tallahassee) and 1 week later, Neal finds out that Emma is wanted for stealing watches in the city of Phoenix and advises him to go to the police and she agrees to go to the police for love of neal and he decides of retrieve the watches . and a month later (While Emma is in prison) Neal recovers the watches And meet August And he speaks to him of emma and Neal Decides to go see the chief of fireman And to tell emma that he died saving a family from a fire,And decides to give a letter of love for emma to auguste And give her if she discovers the truth about magic or if the curse is broken,And when emma leaves prison she goes to see the fire chief and suspects that neal is always alive,And at 1x22 before that august is changed into wood, he tells emma that she can read the letter of neal

Okay, I LOVE Captain Swan, originally because I saw it come out of nowhere! At least, I never saw it becoming an actual thing. I love being surprised with a pairing, when you see a pairing coming from a mile away, it makes me, at least, not want to watch. When you see a pairing, like the best friend you’ve loved since you were kids, it makes me not want to root for them, if they are obviously going to end up together. Captain Swan, however, this couple could have easily not ended up together, multiple time, a hundred different ways. When it did start to happen, I thought it was gonna become something similar to Buffy and Spike. He likes her, she despises him then they sort of be together, in an unhealthy way, where she is ashamed of herself and then she does end up ending it and then he ends up doing something that is unforgivable and/or very bad. The fact that they both truly grew to love and respect one another, fight literal life and death for each other, that shows it was a true pairing. And thankfully no ‘Ross and Rachel’ back and forth crap, it made me truly fall for this pairing and ship them forever. The fact that their ‘stereotypes’ (him a ‘villain’ her the ‘hero’) are complete opposites, makes it SO much better! It’s just a reminder that this show takes fairytales and takes them to places they’ve never been before. Captain Hook a hero?! Snow White and Prince Charming’s daughter a villain?! Honestly at first, imagining the ending, I never pictured hook getting a happy ending, and I’m glad I was off the mark and that my pessimistic guesses were wrong! Captain Swan is OTP, Period. They will continue to be one of my favorite couples of all time, LONG after this show is over! ❤️❤️
Emma and Hook was set up in the beanstalk episode, they laid the groundwork... and since Emma was not someone who lived in fairytale and so on, so her love story was present, they didnt have flashbacks to fall back on, everything happened in present and step by step... and Her walls, his walls, his redemption, her journey... it was beautiful.

At the time, I did still ship them, but I wasn’t about to get my hopes up on something that I’ve never really seen go successfully before, and didn’t think a show would typically go that way, for it to be a long term/canon thing. But that’s probably because I wasn’t used to seeing “Villians” or “bad guys” not getting happy endings or being portrayed in a way for them to be able to deserve happy endings or redemption. Like, in my head, I’m comparing previous “hero and villain couples” like Buffy and Spike, and Phoebe and Cole. Neither of them get happy endings together🤷🏼♀️ If any of that actually makes sense, LOL 😂 🤔 But hey, different shows, different characters, different outcomes👍 But that’s why I love this show so much. Nothing against ruby's love story but it was only one episode and it took the place of many other couples that had way more build up to their stories. Will scarlet had such an involved love story they made an entire spinoff about it.

I never thought of Robin as good enough for Regina. Ruby and Dorothy had only one episode together, and absolutely no chemistry. I'd put Rumple and Cora on this list, for the complexity if anything. Merlin and Nimue, too. Henry has more chemistry with Ivy than Jacinda. Ultimately, I'd give the number 1 to Zelena and Hades, for the massive amount of character development Zelena got from it.

I know they weren’t technically on this show but Will and Anastasia otherwise known as the Knave of Hearts and the Red Queen were one of the best Once Upon a time franchise couples! Their story is so epic! After she chose to be queen over being with him, he had his own heart ripped out because the pain of not being with her was too much. And she knew her greatest mistake was choosing to be queen over being with him and tore Wonderland apart to win him back. He hates her so much because she left him and when he finally gets his heart back she dies right in front of him.
And it just makes my heart happy that the actors who played Snow White and prince charming ended up together in real life they’re so perfect for each other

I get why Snow x Charming was chosen, but I do think Captain Swan (in my opinion) is number one.. There's this quote that Killian says in season six when he wants to climb the beanstalk and he's reminded of his first meeting with Emma. He told David "Granted it was hardly love at first sight...but things changed. We changed. Look, we made each other better. Emma and I were never a pre-destined love story guaranteed a happy ending. We fought for our love and we won." Still gives me chills thinking about that. It wasn't supposed to happen, but they fell in love. A princess with her pirate. Took forever and us Captain Swan fans were always on the edge just waiting. When the timing was right, they got together amazingly and it was beautiful. They both died for each other and changed themselves a lot. (They both had similar backgrounds with how they handled things in the past. Both had their hearts broken and were the dark ones at the same time). Emma took down her walls thanks to Killian, and Killian redeemed himself and chose to become the best person he can be for her.
I love their love to. I cried when Snow had to lie and say she didn't love Charming, but like always, they always found each other. I'm so glad they got their happy ending. P.S. Snow Falls is my favorite episode

It’s A Chair Agreed. It’s hard to care about Snow and Charming as a couple when the show’s existence itself is proof they will always love each other, but with Rumbelle it was great to see Rumple let someone in after years of abandonment & regret as well as his struggle between his addiction to dark magic & true happiness. But I’ve noticed that Belle had nothing to gain from the relationship - she was there just to help Rumple be a better person. I wish we could’ve seen more of how Rumple helped her take charge of her own destiny, or stand up for herself & others, or something.

listen, i know snow and charming are the og's, and ginny and josh being together irl is amazing and so sweet, but emma and hook should have been number one on this list.
Okay, I LOVE Captain Swan, originally because I saw it come out of nowhere! At least, I never saw it becoming an actual thing. I love being surprised with a pairing, when you see a pairing coming from a mile away, it makes me, at least, not want to watch. When you see a pairing, like the best friend you’ve loved since you were kids, it makes me not want to root for them, if they are obviously going to end up together. Captain Swan, however, this couple could have easily not ended up together, multiple time, a hundred different ways. When it did start to happen, I thought it was gonna become something similar to Buffy and Spike. He likes her, she despises him then they sort of be together, in an unhealthy way, where she is ashamed of herself and then she does end up ending it and then he ends up doing something that is unforgivable and/or very bad.
The fact that they both truly grew to love and respect one another, fight literal life and death for each other, that shows it was a true pairing. And thankfully no ‘Ross and Rachel’ back and forth crap, it made me truly fall for this pairing and ship them forever. The fact that their ‘stereotypes’ (him a ‘villain’ her the ‘hero’) are complete opposites, makes it SO much better! It’s just a reminder that this show takes fairytales and takes them to places they’ve never been before. Captain Hook a hero?! Snow White and Prince Charming’s daughter a villain?! Honestly at first, imagining the ending, I never pictured hook getting a happy ending, and I’m glad I was off the mark and that my pessimistic guesses were wrong!
Captain Swan is OTP, Period. They will continue to be one of my favorite couples of all time, LONG after this show is over! ❤️❤️
Emma and Hook was set up in the beanstalk episode, they laid the groundwork... and since Emma was not someone who lived in fairytale and so on, so her love story was present, they didnt have flashbacks to fall back on, everything happened in present and step by step... and Her walls, his walls, his redemption, her journey... it was beautiful.

At the time, I did still ship them, but I wasn’t about to get my hopes up on something that I’ve never really seen go successfully before, and didn’t think a show would typically go that way, for it to be a long term/canon thing. But that’s probably because I wasn’t used to seeing “Villians” or “bad guys” not getting happy endings or being portrayed in a way for them to be able to deserve happy endings or redemption. Like, in my head, I’m comparing previous “hero and villain couples” like Buffy and Spike, and Phoebe and Cole. Neither of them get happy endings together🤷🏼♀️ If any of that actually makes sense, LOL 😂 🤔 But hey, different shows, different characters, different outcomes👍

But then they started to get closer and closer and I thought they would end up together but not for long meaning I thought one of them would screw up the relationship and emma would either end up single or with someone else. But it turned out it didn't. I really didn't expect Snow White and Prince Charming's daughter to marry captain hook. And that's why their relationship is so cute because no one saw it coming.

Their story is so epic! After she chose to be queen over being with him, he had his own heart ripped out because the pain of not being with her was too much. And she knew her greatest mistake was choosing to be queen over being with him and tore Wonderland apart to win him back. He hates her so much because she left him and when he finally gets his heart back she dies right in front of him.

I get why Snow x Charming was chosen, but I do think Captain Swan (in my opinion) is number one.. There's this quote that Killian says in season six when he wants to climb the beanstalk and he's reminded of his first meeting with Emma. He told David "Granted it was hardly love at first sight...but things changed. We changed. Look, we made each other better. Emma and I were never a pre-destined love story guaranteed a happy ending. We fought for our love and we won." Still gives me chills thinking about that.
It wasn't supposed to happen, but they fell in love. A princess with her pirate. Took forever and us Captain Swan fans were always on the edge just waiting. When the timing was right, they got together amazingly and it was beautiful. They both died for each other and changed themselves a lot. (They both had similar backgrounds with how they handled things in the past. Both had their hearts broken and were the dark ones at the same time). Emma took down her walls thanks to Killian, and Killian redeemed himself and chose to become the best person he can be for her.
