The Larch The Larch. The Larch. Good to know Al did his homework and watched "How to Recognise Different Types of Trees From Quite a Long Way Away." Seriously, thanks for putting human scale to those huge timbers.
Another great video, and that waterfall was something special! By the way, when I started watching the video I happened to have UA-cam's Ai produced captions turned on - and it rather wonderfully described the sound of water falling in the mine as either 'music' or 'applause'! The Ai obviously thought it was a musical mine!
Hello, just a few questions please. 1) If it was needed, would you be able to drink any of that water ? 2) Where does all the water flow to ? 3) has anyone ever tried to pipe it out in order to make use of the water ? 4) What is the strangest thing you have ever come across in any of the places you explore ? Thank you ahead of time for answering My questions. Have a Happy and Healthy New Year
I know this mine, probably the most amazing I've ever seen. Explored it about 25 years ago, nice to see that the timbers are still intact. Quite scary in places, the waterfall was spectacular.
"rather wet right here" - the understatement of the year! Any wetter and you would be under water! Very interesting mine. Maybe I missed it, but did the original miners follow a creek/river underground and widen the cavern? That's the wettest mine I've ever seen! Good job guys 😊
...when i think on old mines i have those bone-dry murican ones in mind. Then i watch your channel and remember were in the middle damn rainy europe xD
Thats amazing. Did an existing river find its way into the stope or was there always water flowing in there like that? If the latter, it must have been cold, wet misery working in that mine. Especially if your trying to keep candles, lanterns and carbide headlamps lit.
amazing experience that must have been to see that for the first time
Well now I'm thirsty for some brown ale! This was so exciting, thank you! I hope you do another video when it's not so wet. :-)
Such a beautiful mine. Thanks for sharing this. Very very interesting.
Our pleasure!

Always exciting when I see you’ve uploaded a new video!
Thank you once again for saying it was a lead and zinc mine.

Holy crap. Good idea to get a shot with him and those beams for scale. They looked neverwhere as big in the shots just before..
That’s amazing

Another awesome video.diolch
You can forget about trying to work by tallow candles in there.
I’ll have to wait awhile 🙃
Shades of the mines of Moria. All you need now are orcs, goblins, dwarves, and hobbits.
wondrous
Would love to see this in real life. I bet this is completely different in the summer months
Amazing guys

Do you ever worry about breathing in some radioactive/toxis dust or some fungus/bacteria? Epic views.
Have any of the timbers shown signs of mineral deposits on them from the running water?
Do we know what kind of trees were used for timbering this mine?
Those timbers are almost complete trees!
😎
Sounds like this Mine is Haunted with those deaths you've mentioned.
First ❤️👍
Can we imagine the miners working in those conditions probably 12 hours a day 🙄
