@@BrettShadow I’m a huge 2Pac fan and I agree. Tupac had plenty of heart and definitely stood it on business. And he had some gangster moments like shooting at those two off-duty cops. But I wouldn’t call him a gangster. On the other hand was the true definition of a street guy who just so happened to making it in the rap game. King Von is another case of that. But we made 50 Cent so much more dope was that the music was so legendary. 🔥🔥🔥
@MarkHallOfFame I don't think Von and Pac can be mentioned in the same categories on just about any level. Von was a talent no doubt, he had the right amount of punch in his flow, and he chose beats very well. His talent really shines when he does Took Her to the O and Why He Told (my personal fav) live with just a piano backing. But Von was a viscous street criminal. A murderer. He glorified the same actions that not only got him killed but so many others that think that's the way to be. Pac had some shoot em up shit too but overall especially before he was just mad af recording at Death Row... he spoke. He spoke to bettering himself, the culture, and the community. Yes he popped those 2 off duty 12 but if you're familiar with the case, he did so in almost a super hero manner. He was standing up for justice. Not evading it and certainly not telling others to get into criminal ways that will no doubt end them on the street. Brenda's got a Baby, Thug Mansion, Changes, Life Goes On.... I like Von as a rap talent. But he and Pac were pulling the rope in opposite directions IMO. If we are to believe the man himself, Von is responsible for over half as many dead black men (and one woman) as ALL police in the entire country were for unarmed black men. I definitely see what you mean and I agree. Pac (and 50) (and believe it or not from everything I've ever heard...Em) are 10 toes no matter what or who they facing. Pac is yet another example of why sometimes punching every muffuka in the mouth can lead to some fatal side effects
