i'm imagine this is my gameplay, only with computer easy, 3hour of game, fire everywhere in my territory and me losing.

This is the best settlers to play in multiplayer. Very cool to watch good players play!
In native game settlers 2 gold, sometimes my storehouse is full of resources lets say lots of grain in storehouse but it does not deliver it to mill. Do you know the reason? I construct mills next to the storehouse and a farm, instead of storing all the grain in the mills workers carry it to the storehouse same with other resources like water... is there a way to force workers to fill the buildings first rather storing in the warehouse? I have 100 breads in storehouse but still mines are waiting food... it does not happen all the time. Mostly i experience this problem with water, iron ore grain etc... thank you great game!
2 month later: you can prioritize, what resources are carried first. Maybe that fixes your problem
I make bakery mills and water near to each other, so they only carry extra resources to the warehouse. If you carry the main resources from the warehouse, the roads are often overloaded
I loved the pattern, and pattern for farms. I wonder if the second row of farms you added provides more output, or if it was simply because you did not have extra space on the right? I suppose the bottleneck is arable land more than farmers, making the farming pattern where the farms are not at 100% the best - correct?
Also why are you taking out soldiers before they reach gold, when upgrading them in your fortress?
I actually never tried using a spacing of 6 nodes rather than 4, but I agree that it should be better. Also placing rows alternating should be great. But as you said, in most cases you don't have that much space and working 3 rows/colums with fields with 2x75% still better than running only 2row/colums at 100%. Never really did the math behind it ;)
The maximum rank was set to sergeant, so no soldier could reach general ranking. I like playing that way because it makes gold less valuable and soldier production more important - which needs more food, so a better economy in general.
My first experience with the new source engine created Settlers 2 was fantastic except my ship doesn't want to go for an expedition the second time no matter what I click onto.
Maybere there is no free spot - the AI sends lots of expeditions, occupying most spots

i tried to download the RttR mod, cause i have the gog version gold, but the download page dont open me, dont work, i dont know why
The page might needs a lot of time to load (if trying to download nightly). Otherwise you may have some noscript or something alike?

46:07 why did you destroy your castle there?
It was flagged as "near border" (that diagonal line "/"), which meant that there were possibly some fortresses already looking at mine. As I haven't had a good defense behind my castle, losing it would probably mean losing the game as well as my economy would just crumble. I did not watch further but I guess I built some more fortresses around that area so I can actually defend and attack. Also the military statistics indicated, that I haven't had as much strong soldiers as the enemy, so skirmishing with them would result in a loss for me. Sometimes it's better to fall back rather than keep what you have :)
@@Spikeeins thanks for the explanation :) besides, i couldn't help but notice a lot of new stuff in the game. Is it some sort of new patch for the game or just a mod?
@@Lazar85 Actually it's a rewrite and (nearly) any change is optional. For example we did not implement the feature that soldiers wait forever if you burn a building while you soldier leaves for fighting. We mainly aim for recreating the original and adding multiplayer to it (as for singleplayer one could still play the original). Although this list is no longer complete, it shows most addons you can enable withing RttR github.com/Return-To-The-Roots/s25client/wiki/Addons

No, explained that on many occasions, this always depends on. When using seafaring it's better to have meat as well, or when transportation routes are far. Having only 2 slots for food in a mine when using bread is a smaller buffer than using bread and meat
@@Spikeeins i heard that varied food give a production bonus, is true?
@@RolandTemplar It's not true - that came with settlers 3, maybe, but at least settlers 4. In Settlers 1 and 2 it doesn't matter.
