PS: "8 or 80" is an old Portuguese proverb that refers to the Nazaré way of life - a kind of mentality, a spectrum in dealing with each other, a certain basic tension but never escalation, binary thought patterns and above all the range of variation in wave height (8-80 feet), wave speed (up to 80 km/h) and age.
That guy on the ski was willing to give his life to the surfer.
He should be honoured.
The love between these guys must be undescribable!!!
It's bad enough getting whacked by the massive wave, but when it's using a jet ski as a knuckle duster...aye yai yai. They tread a fine line between brave and crazy. Glad they all walked away from it.
So fortunate the waves pushed them toward shore. I've never seen a situation this bad.
0:26 omg that shadow creeping up... 😨
That's not a wave . That's an apartment building
Heavy swells, a force to recognize, if your
I'm glad they survived. That was horrible! 😭
Nazare’ is literally a mountain of water… unbelievable how big and powerful those waves are at this place…
Just the white water was casting a huge shadow. Wow!
I am going to Nazare in 3 weeks, hope to see those waves, but no accidents!
Enjoy it and I guess the chances are high to see some beautiful waves there
That was freaky never seen the ski get bowled !! Glad they OK and still laughing too much and very brave 🏄♂️😉🌊
Rule numero uno , don’t surf these monstrous waves…..they’re deadly!
Life has mother nature
Having lived in Southern California and surfed every day for several years, being pulled under from a massive wave is one of the scariest things I have ever encountered. I have never surfed waves anywhere near this, but the constant punishment over and over makes you question your life choices.
When the shadow started appearing over the jetski, you knew something bad was going to happen!
Really Glad they made it !!!!
This wave is incredibly terrifying!
Those who risk their life(s) by practising extreme sports, might actually end up dead, sooner or later.
It may appear suicidal but the point is definitely not death. Quite on the contrary, the point is life: an intense life, the experience of nature, and the shifting of standards through highest possible risk control. Big wave surfers are venturous, but most of us are not daredevils.
nightmare 😱
Hey you get two for the price of one, LOL. .But seriously it good to see that they both survived the ordeal.
Wave point brake. 3 timing 3 anticipations / options (for 2 to 4 meters)
Swim up (the wave lift you to the top but to lattely its a risk to fall with the brake).
Too late, you dive deeply has possible and make a ball with your body.
If you have time you can swim away to the beach only if the point break is and willnt on you.
All I saw was an Enormous, Dark Shadow reaching Unfathomable heights, and thinking to myself, this might not end well!!!
Great video
Thank you, Ben and Joao did a great job filming and editing. Flying the drone in high winds is tricky
Actually, surviving Nazare is not at all impossible.
At least there is no Great White.
Susto de morte......, quando se desafia a natureza...., ela tb riposta.....!!!!
Tentamos ser mais espertos do que a natureza. Mas ela vencerá sempre:)
Would that hurt not a surfer?
Жизнь после маленькой смерти!
floatation vests for the save
I cant even imagine that we started sufing Jaws in shorts back in the days. Those inflatable vests ARE game-changers for sure you are absolutely right @donh3590
understated for the win. id use one anywhere is 5-ft and over hawaiian@@AlexWippel
They don’t look particularly pleased to see each other..,
Yeah, fun times
Yeah once the whitewater got under the jetski she was all over !!
Yah Bless ❤
Thank you for watching!
Woa

👏🏻💪🏼
Thank you my love;)
I find it a bit satirical and absolutely hilarious that you're making splash noises in your bathtub every time they fall.
Sorry that you don´t like it. Thank you for your feedback
Theirs easier ways to get famous.
Just wow.
Игра со смертью 🌊
That wasn't bad he was at the top and out of da big danger
Wtf are you talking about? Ever wiped out in a 3 meter wave yourself and witnessed the extreme force of water? Let alone 30 meters? Obviously not because then you wouldn‘t write such nonsense
You have obviously never been pummeled by a set of big waves. It knocks you out of breath and each subsequent wave does its best to finish you off.
Edit totally sucks. Don't change POV in the middle of the action. Show one POV, then show again for any alternate POVs.
Too bad that you don´t like it. Thank you for the feedback
Why don't you go out there and show us how it's done !
@@kevinwhelehan421 I commented about the editing which doesn't require going out there. The videography and content are great.
Next time maybe be a little bit more positive and kind in giving feedback because your comment was very harsh and it should always be about appreciating the creators
@@davidpreiss8638I agree. My comment was unfair and necessarily harsh. Thank you for the thoughtful feedback :I'll use it)
