Do the radio techs give passive stats to units?? i never do radio tech ☠☠☠
I didn’t used to do them either lol. I still don’t prioritize them but when I have nothing else to research they can be helpful. The first radio tech gives +5% reinforce rate (really good) and +4% coordination. Each additional radio tech gives another +1% coordination. I’m not an expert when it comes to this but as far as I understand, coordination comes into play when you have multiple units engaged in offensive combat with multiple enemy units. The more coordination your units have, the more they will each focus on attacking the same enemy unit at the same time, rather than spreading their attack across each of the enemy divisions. Coordination can be very effective if you stack it on units that have high breakthrough, as it will de-org the enemy units extremely quickly one at a time, giving the enemy less time to reinforce the combat before you break it. Hope this makes some sort of sense haha
In any case, I always recommend getting the first radio tech, the +5% reinforce rate is almost always worth it
