It's funny how some of these videos are four years old, and you seemed genuinely surprised by that fact. Yet, I've watched most of them recently, so I went in my head like: "No, man, you made that one 5 days ago!" Anyways, great videos! Keep up the good work!
    Best regards from Serbia, Europe!

Yes so happy you made another one fr.
You ought to make a steam boat lure with one of those wheels on the back to throw up water. Sounds cool to me.

Appreciate you and these videos greatly. Enjoy your time with Chip, he seems like a top notch companion. Just had to put down my best friend of 12 years after doing the same a few months back with his brother. They were the absolute best, ill miss those boys immensely. Thanks for the distraction in the meantime

I think it was this past summer I decided to make a pike spoon with some brass and it did pretty good. I think I had the spoon to hook ratio wrong though cause I never caught anything but I got a TON of stikes. It also came flying off the line when I cast but I was able to get it back. Even put my makers mark for my knives on it.

My dad was an only child of a couple in which "Mom" taught at a one room schoolhouse and "Dad" was a middle manager at a factory.
If I had said, "I picked and choosed" in front MY dad, I would have spent a good deal of my life explaining how that was wrong.
    As it was, I spent a solid 15 years being asked "What's 6x8? (and/or) 8x6?"
    Don't get me wrong.
    This is jealousy.
    Not condescension.
Big love and much hugs to you and yours this holiday season!

I’ve been watching the channel for awhile, I think the first video I watched was the the 100 piece snake lure of the 100,000 subscriber video. I can’t believe it’s been that long, but one video I’m still waiting for is the part 2 for the Pregnant Bluegill Lure. I need to know if you ever finished it or if you are waiting for another milestone with the family for a part 2. Either way I will continue to wait for it, whether it takes another 4 years or not. Happy fishing till then!🎣💕

Have you ever considered Vacuum Pressure Impregnation for the sealing process when you make a bait that you want to use in the rocks for a long time? You just soak it in the urethane for a while, while inside of a vacuum chamber. It pulls the urethane into the outer layer of the wood, making the mechanical bond to the wood very strong, and makes a thicker layer, too.

09:59 Nate - if you rotate your über boujee cork board 90° counter clockwise, then it will look like every legit observational sample chart (bell curve) with 98% of data found within 2 std deviations from the mean (think back to your STATS 1102 class)
your baits’ rankings mean is between B & C. so, chunking up those areas is normal & not Nate not knowing what he’s doing. you have to trust me on this…I made a B or C in that early Stats Course nearly 20 years ago, as an undergrad.
these looks back look backs are cool, but also remind me of how freaking quickly life passes…a youthful Chip & pre-children Marlings (you two) doesn’t seem *that* long ago, does it?!
keep on truckin’ Homie. you’re still killin’ it & have made a pretty cool community out of your subbers & biz partners along the way…and we actually know how dorky you truly are (we sense our own)
    cheers, Dude.

  • @Grand-Massive
    @Grand-Massive 10 місяців тому +1

It would be really cool if you made a musky lure and made yourself catch a musky with it. Not a lure that is a musky but a lure for musky. Even if its just pre made parts that you custom paint would still be pretty cool imo.
