I grew up in Miami and I remember when Ocean Drive was old folks who were living there last years on a fixed income. We used to hang out at South Beach by the pier with the surf and hip crowd. You're talking the 60s through the 70s.

Born and raised in Miami. I'm 47 now. I used to go there when I was in my 20's, I wouldn't go near that place now. It's nice to visit once or twice if you're not from around here but to us locals (adults) it's considered a parking nightmare where everything is horribly over priced. Oh and the "blind man" at 19:12 in the nice clothes holding the donation cup I would bet is not blind....either that or he is really good getting around SB and makes a lot of money with that paper cup. LOL.

I agree. I just returned from Miami after a ten year hiatus. The place (South Beach) is full of low-lifes, who are doing nothing but trying to scam or rip-off tourist and victimizing restaurants by going in to dine and either dashing without paying (Not to mention tipping servers) or creating disturbances and fights so they can sneak out without paying. And I won't even touch the homeless issue. Basically an over-priced ghetto.
