Formed 1970 in Canton Ohio. Ralph Minocchi (guitars), Glen Sikora (bass), Rick Pag (drums & vocals). They only ever released this one 45 but it has shown up on a couple of compilations (Brown Acid Vol 4 2017, Wayfaring Strangers 2014).
Without these vocals the song would still be great, but there is something about the vocals that makes it seem like a green pixie demon is singing and I love it!
I just checked Discogs.com -my usual source for info. While Discogs does aknowledge this 45's existence it has NO info on the band itself. But this must have been a DIY release since there was NOTHING else ever issued on Stone Cold Records.
Can we get access 2 purchasing some of this music.. or at least write some background on these groups if it's available to you it would make your site a hundred times better even though it's a hundred times better than most sites
WHAT???? The vocals give this feel like nothing else ever, even if it was a fluke how it came about. It much more weird with these vocal combined wit the lyrics than if it was a "decent" singer. Man, you just don't get it.

That eerily hypnotic lead guitar lick on Warlock...
This is an amazing pearl of a find.
Great mid seventies hard rock.

I wish there was an entire album of material like Warlord.
There are several. Search for "Brown Acid". It's a series of compilations (I think 13 by now) and this song is on one of them.
Give Clear Blue Sky a listen... 1970.
@@MediaFaust Thanks. I am familiar with many of those bands. What I want is an album of these vocals and vibe.

Solid "70s hard" sound and cool-ass arrangements but those vocals are outrageous

Wish vocals were at least decent
The vocals were perfect - in my opinion 😁

The vocals are pretty strange, you have to give him that. I like them. Sounds like some primitive vocoder.
steven frasier sounds like a sexual santanic ritual to me...
