Cool test. And you're right about the ratings. Most winches are designed to pull the machine or vehicle it's attached to out of a sticky situation. Thanks for sharing, Tony!
MR TONY, DON'T FORGET ALSO THAT 3500 POUNDS WILL BE WITH ONE WRAP ON THE WINCH. YOU HAD WAY TOO MUCH LINE ON THERE TO GET FULL PULLING STRENGTH. THINK OF BIGGER&SMALLER SPROCKETS AND THEIR EFFECTS ON TORQUE. SAME BASIC PRINCIPLES APPLY TO WINCH POWER. GOD BLESS BROTHER COOL VIDEO.
Thanks Tony. The Winch will almost always out pull the pull force of the vehicle. If You had the all the Cable pulled off the Drum, then You would have the 3500lb's of pull from the Winch. Even with the Little battery it would drag the Bighorn with the all 4 wheels locked. I was pulling with a 3 part line with my ATV tied off and I thought I was gonna pull the Frame apart... And since My 4,000 lb Winch is removable, I have used it for pulling / Lifting all kinds of stuff. Mike M.
I'm glad you like your SxS, I had an Odes several years ago, it had so many problems, It turned me off to Chyna Vehicles. I hope you have good luck with yours.
It is definitely noisy with a cab. I think they are all noisy with a cab because you're sitting on top of the engine enclosed. It doesn't really bother me.
This unit is not made by Linhai. This unit is manufactured by Nebula Power Co., LTD. they make this particular unit for Big Horn, SSR Motorsports and TrailMaster. Same unit with different stickers. They also make the 400cc unit in the lineups as well as the 200cc units all in different configurations with different stickers but same vehicle. They work with some other OEMs as well.
Is 3500lbs rating a single or double line pull ? I think you ran out of winch power, not battery power I would have thought you would have lost traction before slipping the belt
The battery voltage dropped significantly while pulling. Most any brand in the 500 cc range that weighs as much as this side by side does would not spin the wheels. It has inter axle locks on both axles which were engaged. All four wheels were pulling. The rear wheels may have turned if I had put it in two-wheel drive. Truthfully, I have no desire to push it seeing that it only has 7 miles on it. It was just a fun way to make a video but not trying to prove anything.

I am very satisfied to this point. Solid Machine.
Good video. I was wondering on your thoughts that others have said the Bighorn is noisy. Yes I am cindering getting one.

Heads up on Winching Hang a heavy jacket over line when winching
But like the video nice machine
I think bollard pull is the number you are demonstrating. Still pretty impressive.
Bollard pull is for watercraft (google search)?
Wonder how they rate what they pull,we need to see utv size battery will do then car sz. And big marine battery
If you have a remote with Winch Spool, the cable on with glove s
🤗❤️👍
Is the Bighorn the Yanmar?
No sir, The BigHorn is BigHorn. It is sold at Tractors Supply and Dealers.
It's made by Linhai.
