Being a borzoi owner, I really enjoy your UA-cam content! I can relate to everything you say. And your breed name posts are hysterical..half the fun is seeing you trying to keep it together😆...also, glad to know I’m not the only one who dresses up my dog and speaks in a Russian accent. My guy is a little Russian peasant man begging for some borscht.

Actually once collected some-surprisingly clean and fresh- enough to make a spool of yarn (it took awhile to amass enough) ! If I had a “herd” of them I probably could have gone into the luxury weave business. An unusual but silky strand of yarn. Dog died at 11 1/2 but I still keep that souvenir!

Im only 15, I have two aussies 1 is 3 almost 4 and One is just 12 weeks, but when Im living on my own Im definitely getting one they are so awesome, you have inspired me with your youtube and instagram everything from Beeets!! To eeesperss “egg”

Hubby was deathly allergic to almost everything , should have been a bubble boy. Was allergic to male dogs(weird!) but was not allergic to our borzois. More weirdness, but yaaa! Lucky us. Borzoi is the only dog I will ever have again. They are amazing! Cat smart, wicked fast, ballerina grace and dirt biker agile!
That is cool! a couple of my friends who are allergic to dogs have no problem with Esper, I guess it's really a person to person basis - totally agree that they are the best too!

Correct me if I'm wrong BUT If it were hair though, the dog would not shed. I had a labradoodle (lab x poodle) those are hypoallergenic dogs because it's hair and not fur and thus the non shedding will limit the amount of allergies around the house because the hair and dander isn't everywhere.
There seems to be some debate about whether ANY dog has hair actually, and in my research, you're right, labradoodle (thx to the poodle) have the closest to what would be considered "hair," i.e., consistent growth without shedding. I would probably be more correct in referring to borzoi coats as fur, although they contain a hair like component, they also have an undercoat - which sheds constantly.
My husband is the same … allergic like crazy to cats, not at all to dogs (praise God).
