  • These are my first impressions of the V14. There is a lot to explore with this wheel, and I will upload some more V14 content once I get some more miles on it, and adjust the settings to my preference.

    I canceled my order for the V14 and moved my deposit over to the Lynx. Thinking I made the right move...

      I'd 10x take the Lynx over the V14, and even the Patton or Mini Bull if I wanted a 16inch wheel.

      @@ZenLee so happy 😂... Thinking of ordering large size kinetic 2.0 pads for lynx and removing that foot stop for the extra width above foot.... What's your thoughts on pads sir?

      I the IP rating is the only reason I'd consider the V14. And maybe the $1000 price difference

      @@EUCScotland I've not tried the kinetic 2.0, I like the footstop, but it does get in the way of some pad setups. Shouldn't be hard to remove or work around. I want to try my clark pads on it, and likely will soon.

    😂 Damn this video felt like a hit job. We must have two very different V14’s. That or you gotta be 100% biased 😅

    I feel like no inmotion wheel is tanky enough for brutal off road rides. And like, 18” wheels make me feel more comfortable when I’m doing washed out trails that you can’t just zip around on. 18” gives wider footprint to roll over dips and ruts

    Ran out of space on my mobile. Next video will be longer. Like or comment, if you like these first impressions videos. Simply put, a first impressions video is about how the product affects your senses, i.e., how it looks, feels, smells, etc. A review is about how the product works, why it exists, the problems it solves, how it's different from its alternatives, etc

    this wheel uses higher quality materials than the patton so screws don’t strip easily unlike the patton and it has a better bms but other than that the commander mini looks better for street riding and the patton looks better for off roading (from what i’ve seen at least)

    What was the max speed alarm set to in the setting? Maybe that’s why it beeped. Probably set low.

    • @ZenLee
      @ZenLee  6 місяців тому

      It was the alarms, but the pedal stiffness. For some reason having your pedals softer makes it beep at lower speeds, makes no sense

    Being a critic is not as easy for everyone. To wheel makers don't take critics personally, for example here we critic the things we like to and buy them. As a x engineer I critic all designs but it does not mean I don't like what's been achieved.
    Perhaps we give to many opinions but there can be advantages in possible new ideas.
    I'd want at least one critic of my product but that's just me.
    I don't think Mr Zen Lee is to harsh as a critic, paying for quality or craftsmanship or support can effect any wheel differently.
    Engagement than exclusions.
    Eh my 5c. Opinions and critics.

    I said the SAME EXACT THING on Marty's review of this wheel. It's in its comment section... it seemed like the innovation left when Bob stepped down(changed company positions)after the V13 didn't blow the world away. That was his baby, his stamp. That's when we actually met Bob as he pushed how great it is. It missed its target.
    He was seen touring in the world on a Leaperkim with his kid. Now the company just copy and pasted Begode.
    He went all out. It appears they didn't like the results.
    If I'm wrong, It's one hell of a coincidence how this all turned out...🤔

    A review video should be at least 100 - 200 miles riding. Riding for a couple miles is enough to get a feel for the wheel, saying each one is different and each rider set up the wheel different. The fact you don't know what is causing the beeps and how to turn it off is proof you don't know enough about the wheel to be doing a review.
    With that said, I have seen a couple YT creators have problems with the V14 and couple creators love the wheel. The batch may not be good and Inmotion need to make adjustments
    In journalism it is not about being first, but giving factual information.

    Lynx > V14. Inmotion wheels contain pretty plastic. Veteran wheels contain no bs, just quality.

    • @schepi7656
      @schepi7656 6 місяців тому

      The plastic is only the shell, underneath everything is metal too.
      Plastic also has certain advantages.
