3:40 I understand that it is the Jungler's job to do this, but my laner doesn't. Had a game recently where i helped my 0/2 Jax push out a wave against a darius, saving the tower as well but he did not understand this play, thought I was soaking his farm for free, got tilted and dc'ed :D.
Had a jungle recently coming to top after I died from enemy gank and farming 3 or 4 waves while I was pinging and writing for him to stop. I had 2/0 and was zoning garen out of exp and farm so when I came back garen was 6 and I was almost 5 and all the waves pushed under enemy turret for garen to get more exp and gold.
@@ic4192 I was greedy and stayed too far in lane so my 2/0 was nothing without 6. Could probably get double kill if my jungler didn't even touch my lane or an easy solo kill after some harassing. Would also probably be lvl 7 and Garen would be 5.
watched this, and just by going to camps where i think are near a play gave me the best feeling game of league ive ever had, i completely stomped the enemy jungler and his lanes :D
Def towers & Help wave control Focus on monsters first and then XP Kill Later Preventing team to die, and make shadowing or counter ganks. Optionality.
Swapping my stuff to jungle right. I used to play a split pusher and constantly would threaten to end the game if they didn’t answer me. It’s just what I did. Going for jungle role has been crazy. I’ve gotten losing lanes to win lane, I’ve been 12/1 with double rift and all dragons and still end up losing because it just takes too long for the laners to figure out how to end. For jungle I like to play divers. I’m usually up, a lot. Their jungle is usually useless. I’ve never been in a position really where I watch everyone win, and do nothing with in. Going from top to jungle has been a very hard climb.
As a toplaner, when I die and I see a wave going to my tower AND my jungler is nearby, a little part of me dies when he doesn't take the wave. Idk if it's my lane, if he doesn't take the wave, then no one will and it is essentially just lost recourses
Yes you should if you can clear them fast. Denying gold for the enemy is better than denying gold for both side. Freezing is a bad option here since the wave is closer to the enemy side in the neutral zone, forcing your laner to sit at a bad position to ganks
Sorry, I don't fully understand the pyramid. In a earlier video, you said that the pyramid would be reversed/ that the difference between master and challenger is way larger than the difference between iron and master. What is it now? :D (since you said 90% will get you to dia min 1:21)
I'm still confused with the laning segment of the video. I'm still really unsure when I'm supposed to come in and take the wave and when I'm supposed to force a gank. I've been ganking whenever I see that a lane is pushed up, but should I be focusing on other factors first??
The forced gank was to stop a slow push back to the enemy. (For what a slow push is/looks like check the 2nd video released after this one.) Sej was chunked more than her laner so was softly losing lane. Depending on the matchup the enemy laner could tower dive or look to freeze the wave on their side after the slow push rebounds. The gank was to clear the wave and set the lane back to a neutral wave state while also allowing sej to base and buy/heal. If sej was still behind after returning the wave would slow push to sej with a much lower chance of sej getting tower dove.
Ik ik old video but I love jungle as yone and I usually do quite well . Should I continue to use him in jungle and get better or just swap back to kayn jungle and and yone mid top ??
The main thing is to control the wave optimally when your jungler is in the area. If you need dragon pressure you want to crash a huge wave right as you start drag. If you want a gank you should pull the wave a bit before they get there, or alternatively push for a dive. If the enemy jungler is in the area you want to pull the wave, or if not possible fast push and leave.
You don't have much adc and jungler interactions, the main reasons are skirmishes for (1) Drake (2) Scuttler (3) Botside Jungle. Keep track what is up and where your jungler is and position yourself for potential fights.
I am happy with any adc that can keep lane pressure. When bot lane gets pinned to their tower...it allows the opponent to get wards up all over and they can easily rotate to contest objectives.
You taking the wave that came after is nasty tho on that gp diana example xd I get why you'd push the lane and take plates but then the next wave too, even tho gp was back on the lane is mean hahaha
I think the video is good but I get lost some times through out the video because of the way you jump between scenarios and relating different examples, for example when you explain Khazix getting the early wave under tower and then in the next example say "This value is so insane", what is insane? its kindof a different scenarios you are relating and when you tell your challenger player to not get the wave when his mid laner died, I had to watch it multiple times to understand that the laner's cs from the minions wont go to waste if the lane state says the same and while some of the minions will die, the laner will still gets most of the cs when they come back, I assume. Would recommend getting feedback from a low-mid elo player on the video to make it easier to make everything very comprehensive and simple to understand. But great video and super informative
This directly contradicts a video Skillcapped released a few months ago claiming the difference between GM and Challenger was bigger than the difference between Bronze and Diamond
Yes there is a big skill cap between GM and Challenger but that doesnt mean theres more the learn in GM than in Silver lets say. Mastering already hard things can be a minority compared to all the basic stuff a Silver needs to learn as from CSing to pathing ect. If you were to put a new player to the game and tried to teach him a bit from every aspect of the game there would be more to learn in 'quantity' than if you told a GM to master certain skills to be perfect. Sure it is harder to master some skills than learning the basics, but as I said it is less in quantity
You mixed up quality and quantity, the quantity of knowledge needed is higher from bronze to Diamond, but the quality of information is higher from Diamond to Chall
I don't understand when to play as if your teammates are going to make the mistake. For example, if Vel Koz just knew to back up a little more, then Lee's gank fails and you are better off getting farm at krugs. But you chose to shadow Vel; playing as if Vel Koz was going to make the bad play. He did make the bad play, but how to we balance assuming our teammate will make the bad play vs the good play?
Just always assume you are playing with morons? Everyone makes mistakes, and if you see the play that fixes a mistake or doesnt lose anything from trying, then do that.
Only jungle skill i need is team who can understand pings... my god you can ping 5x for top to go back or.. well anything but no. And then there is that one guy who just HAS to splitpush non stop and NEVER joins a teamfight. sigh
the worse thing about laning is when jungler comes and ruin a nice slowpush back so dont agree with ur decision on taking the farm as diana, but im not high elo so im probably wrong in macro, but it tilts the laner to much to be worth.
As a jungler I'd rly like signals for that tbh. When I try to do things on a wave like holding it or crashing it. I always get question mark pinged if I try anything.
My biggest problem is my teammates on low elo. Stealing jungle early and 2 jungle even when I called and pinged Jungle. Lol there's also teammates that literally leaves lane to get taken and prioritize ganks and kills. There's a few times that I literally had to push and defend lanes since 4 guys ganking.
One of the reasons why LOL is hard to master is because its all about luck. The luck relying on your teammates. This game is like dominoes if one lane does bad early game not much can be done late game. True mechanical skill is more like rocket league or rumble fighter.
when i jungle i start with the 1850 guys but they dont level up me? i only get like below half of the level, other people get a level up, does someone know why?
Yea, did all this shit. We were 11-0. I was 4-0 with Xin Zhao, and I ganked all my lanes and they were all successful. All of a sudden, my top laner died 3 times back to back. Started flaming me for not coming back top while we have a lead, even though I was playing around Dragon and my bot lane. Then he just starts flaming. Bot lane starts typing to him to shut the hell up. Then they start dying lol. Oh, and my mid laner was playing farm simulator. He was 1-0-1. He had 2KP at 30 minutes. Not sure what else I could've done. Even when I gank, and we're winning, I still get flamed. Anyway, we lost the game from an 11 kill lead.
6:58 I don't understand why you were skipping krugs here. You began to move before actually seeing the Lee Sin with the ward, so you couldn't yet know for sure there would be a gank to counter. And I guess it was a strange move to go for an invade too ? I'd like to understand because this move actually led to a nice counter gank but it looks like a lucky mistake.
You can literally see him hover the mid lane and ping him before pathing there. How the hell is it luck??? LOL. Have you never heard of the concept of tracking the enemy jungler?
that pyramid is upside down. The easiest part is going from iron to plat, and is super ez to learn. Comparted to master to chall there is soooo much to learn
Coach : hey student. Student : yeah ? Coach : you know there's a huge wave top and the enemy top laner is destroying your tower right ? Student : yeah, and ? Do I roat- Coach : nah just keep farming crugs. *Whisper* I'll complain about this in the next video.
You can acquire the skills within a year, starting from zero. To learn the most spend as much time watching the replay of your own solo ranked games as you spend playing them. You learn fastest by making and understanding mistakes, but often you don't see the mistakes during play. Keep in mind to use the fog of war feature too to understand everyone's decisions.
Easy to understand guide but I cannot try anything of this becouse im in Bronze so my team always lets me die when ganking or goes afk while insulting me becouse I didn't hold its hand the whole laning phase
First, if your low elo do every single game: /mute all Second, if your a jungle main and want to learn, watch virkayu, not this channel. This video isnt that great, right at the start they tell you to steal your top waves, thats griefing.. If GP is behind, he will be even more now and will get dove unless your always there. It depends on the game but its almost always really bad unless youve like a malphite that cant stay in lane, so you can push for him to roam directly bot or mid from base but this wont ever happen in solo q. Now what you can and should do is help a laner push after a kill so the enemy loses xp and gold or if your laner needs to base because is vulnerable to get killed. You can take the minions if you think you scale better but the idea here is xp sharing not straight up stealing.
you cant "master" league since 80% of your teams decisions and plays are out of your hand. have just one troll on your team and its almost impossible to win.

@@Rivomazyou had 2/0 after dying to enemy gank huh😂
@@ic4192 I was greedy and stayed too far in lane so my 2/0 was nothing without 6. Could probably get double kill if my jungler didn't even touch my lane or an easy solo kill after some harassing. Would also probably be lvl 7 and Garen would be 5.
watched this, and just by going to camps where i think are near a play gave me the best feeling game of league ive ever had, i completely stomped the enemy jungler and his lanes :D
also snagged a good bit of lane xp and gold from dead laners, or wouldve been lost gold/xp, and i was so far ahead it just made everything else easier
Def towers & Help wave control
Focus on monsters first and then XP Kill Later
Preventing team to die, and make shadowing or counter ganks.
Optionality.
Great guide, as always, I learned a lot!
Going from top to jungle has been a very hard climb.
bro can u tell me how did u put minutes on map to see when jg farm is gonna spawn plzz bro i need this
League is the only game that you’re teammates will absolutely destroy you for making the right play
Nice Work 👍
Thank you so much for the video. I learned a lot of things from this video.
Rank?
@@chabbab6698 I just hit silver
As a toplaner, when I die and I see a wave going to my tower AND my jungler is nearby, a little part of me dies when he doesn't take the wave.
Idk if it's my lane, if he doesn't take the wave, then no one will and it is essentially just lost recourses
Great Video!!
amazing video, thanks.
Bro really went over "macro" without even mentioning how to close out a game lmao
good clip what resolution do you play cause its little low?
watching the shit talking toxicity in the chat on a video with a lean towards more professional content is so funny. League is such an enigma.
Such an a informative video!
8:06 do we push that wave under enemies tower since both laners died? Sylas gets to lose more minions
The waves are fine. A little bit to Sylas side, but it will freeze nicely
Yes you should if you can clear them fast. Denying gold for the enemy is better than denying gold for both side. Freezing is a bad option here since the wave is closer to the enemy side in the neutral zone, forcing your laner to sit at a bad position to ganks
What you did to the gangplank at 5:50, if he were my top owner he would have just ran it down mid.
Kayn jungle's the best
@@Oldedits-tr1ux kayn is good I do agree I blue stance a lot for the mobility and cooldown
Is that exp thing after lvl 9 still applying in s14?
yo that is awesome!
I wanna know how the gank u did at 7:25 was going to work if your velkoz was just pinging u to leave and u just went in and inted
that wouldve been exactly what wouldve happened in Bronze, every time I gank I feel extremely abandoned
I dont think it wouldve worked if sylas turned back right away when zac appeared, it was a coin flip in my opinion.
I'm not a jungler. As an ADC I'd like to know how I can help my jungler in the best way possible. :)
adc doesnt have nearly as much impact as supp / mid to "help jg"
The main thing is to control the wave optimally when your jungler is in the area. If you need dragon pressure you want to crash a huge wave right as you start drag. If you want a gank you should pull the wave a bit before they get there, or alternatively push for a dive. If the enemy jungler is in the area you want to pull the wave, or if not possible fast push and leave.
Most importantly is rotate. Nothing is more upsetting than to die 10 ft from a lane because no one saw the mini map and helped
Thanks for this video, don’t think I stop breaking my gaming keyboard mouse
There are matches that the the enemy team decides to push mid early, how am I going to combat that?
would skillcapped still work for me even tho i am a shaco OTP?
Not really, it just means that the small portion of the pyramid at the top leads to much bigger disparities in skill the higher you go.
You mixed up quality and quantity, the quantity of knowledge needed is higher from bronze to Diamond, but the quality of information is higher from Diamond to Chall
The knowledge difference is bigger from bronze to diamond. But the mastery of knowledge from diamond to challenge is massive
The skill difference when compared is larger, but the amount of things that need to be learns is smaller.
Everyone makes mistakes, and if you see the play that fixes a mistake or doesnt lose anything from trying, then do that.
really great video. About how many minutes in should I transition from clearing camps to fighting/protecting teammates
Damn, that pyramyd shaking so hard, my head almost explode
3:25 What rank is this? I dont play league instead i play wild rift and damn i wouldve never made that mistake as a jungler
Why do you hit tab every 2 seconds? What are you looking at that changes every 2 seconds?
How to exit smurf queue, make a video about that!
What about bottom, how does jg help
wait japanese import used to be a master tier ivern otp when i used to play LOOOL is he actually challenger level now ??
Does this still apply in season 13?
Only jungle skill i need is team who can understand pings... my god you can ping 5x for top to go back or.. well anything but no. And then there is that one guy who just HAS to splitpush non stop and NEVER joins a teamfight. sigh
NA Ego, nothing can fix that
I think it comes down to the Pareto Principle where roughly 80% of the results come from 20% of time invested
How does skillcapped comment 8 hours before the video is posted
I was about to type in first but I see this s***
@@alexdubin1992 scheduling uploads to go live later
like you can choose when u want ur video to become public
You'd know how if you watched their course on UA-cam macro play
the worse thing about laning is when jungler comes and ruin a nice slowpush back so dont agree with ur decision on taking the farm as diana, but im not high elo so im probably wrong in macro, but it tilts the laner to much to be worth.
sometimes I'm a little 2 good at taking my laners waves, even if it's bad 😂
i wish i could count more on junglers to hold my tower while i need to base
As a jungler I'd rly like signals for that tbh. When I try to do things on a wave like holding it or crashing it. I always get question mark pinged if I try anything.
@@nautvanhee398 A Tinder but for this, lol
That's what most people in these comments say but when i do that as a Jung my kamer goes afk cause I'm stealing his farm
All lane feed level 3 , what to do?
I farm, my team flames me. I team fight, my team flames me. Apparently I'm always out of position at all times no matter how hard I try not to be.
True mechanical skill is more like rocket league or rumble fighter.
false, get good
Why could you take the GP wave but not Kat's?
I think if I learned anything from this video, it's that krugs are bad if you have other things you can do.xD
when i jungle i start with the 1850 guys but they dont level up me? i only get like below half of the level, other people get a level up, does someone know why?
Your English is hard to understand, what do you mean with 1850? Perhaps you didn't buy a jungle item, it is necessary to get XP in the jungle
I did step 1 to an echo mid after he died and got called slurs for stealing cs
4:53 i know this from before
But in low elo does it even matter?
Do my bronze top laner care about the wave state? Absolutely fuckin not
Why is the video shaking? The graphics are a little hard to look at when they're so fidgety
BRO THIS IS THE BO2 THEME SONG
EPIC HAHA
1:04 like players who don't want to throw the game just because they can. :V
i still dont get it...
agurin is rank 1 euw jng and he farming the most time and not helping xD. but he plays builds for team fights.
5:13 disgusting olaf q man like why max range it????
Coach : hey student.
Student : yeah ?
Coach : you know there's a huge wave top and the enemy top laner is destroying your tower right ?
Student : yeah, and ? Do I roat-
Coach : nah just keep farming crugs. *Whisper* I'll complain about this in the next video.
that was some fundamental misrepresentation of chess.
The jungler must win lines for his allies. So that they may be able to win the game.
You must win your lane and jungler can help you sometimes. Jg isnt your dog to call when u inting. You must understand that before all!
That's only true if you are above your own MMR.
Btw this is sarcasm.

If this is the only guide I need, why buy skillcapped access?
I'm struggling to get to gold and I wonder: how much time does one need to get each elo, starting from bronze?
You can acquire the skills within a year, starting from zero. To learn the most spend as much time watching the replay of your own solo ranked games as you spend playing them. You learn fastest by making and understanding mistakes, but often you don't see the mistakes during play. Keep in mind to use the fog of war feature too to understand everyone's decisions.
funnily enough at 11:00 taliyah did absolutely nothing impactful that fight and didn't have to be tyhere XDDDD
wait but does this video make my 3 lanes win automatically instead of a 15/0 garen??!?
Today on the superserver youtube channel if any other master+ player wants to improve
1:24 I don’t want to get to diamond, I wanna know the 10%, please make a new video on the 10% this one was a let down
Easy to understand guide but I cannot try anything of this becouse im in Bronze so my team always lets me die when ganking or goes afk while insulting me becouse I didn't hold its hand the whole laning phase
First, if your low elo do every single game: /mute all
Second, if your a jungle main and want to learn, watch virkayu, not this channel.
You can take the minions if you think you scale better but the idea here is xp sharing not straight up stealing.
what the fuck are macros and micros
This video told me that i will get flamed anyway even if i play well or not.
you cant "master" league since 80% of your teams decisions and plays are out of your hand. have just one troll on your team and its almost impossible to win.
you're welcome
