You know, Pedro gets a lot of hate. I used to hate him too; don't get me wrong, his bars are absolute shit most of the time. But lately, I've been really entertained by his battles. He's funny to listen to if you don't take it seriously. I think that the people calling him cringe worthy don't really get what he's about, because if you're looking for tight, intricate bars, then he seems horrible. But if you watch him with the mindset that this is a guy who really doesn't give a shit and freestyles almost 100% of what was supposed to be a written battle, then you realize that he's quite amusing.
It's just funny! Not lyrical, or clever, or well-rehearsed, but funny. A lot of people take battle rap way too seriously, and I think that Pedro's rounds are a nice break from the standard.

No way in hell will I rate him as one of the best in terms of intricate bars or anything, I dare say he's one of the best battlers in terms of just rapping about anything and everything, including the kitchen sink, to hell with relevance or what the hell he's reaching, scheming, etc... and goddamn, this is the kind of guy that if you zip him up, he'd probably rip the bag from the inside and start rappin' about rocket science and fish tanks.
Pedro is beatable and is shit in serious battles, but who the fuck cares? The man's entertaining as fuck.

Pedro is the man, not everybody dislikes him, i think he's sick. Granted he had a few non rhymes in this battle but he's a rarity. You shouldn't be to quick to criticize someone who is that comfortable with free styling against popular opponents who will put writing and practice into their performances.
