Tere bin and Malal-e-yaar has kinda same genre, like the male lead is feudalist and there is forced marriage with cousin, it's hate to love story but Murtasim in his drama was educated man and Balaaj was uneducated, but see the difference in their character arc as story progressed , Murtasim turned worst as storyline moved, he went from caring person for his wife to an a**hole who did marital r*pe and he even became ready to marry that woman who destroyed his married life and created problems in their family , meanwhile balaaj was uneducated and misogynist man in the start but he never forced himself on his wife despite their fights , and story progressed when he fell for her he became such a caring loving person who started to take stand for his wife and condemned his uncle for his wrongdoings

Actually pakistani dramas highlight the social issues that's why they highlights the injustice with women , they are trying to pursue the concept that ONE should not do this .. However , my father and my brother are not like that as well as majority of men are not like that ...
I will suggest you watch some different Pakistani dramas which talk about different topics...something like dil na umeed tou naheen these days or shehre zaad... Ehdewafa etc
