Hi again, you nesponded (received an email from YT) but your message is not here so, hope you see this. I know nobody should do landscape on a small device but some do. It works fine in responsive mode at SE size. and smaller. It scrolls. Unfortunately, after twenty-odd years, I've had plenty clients that would pull me on that 😀
Very nice. This is the kind of thing I had in mind for my new website. Just some questions: Updates planned and included? Is there a documentation somewhere? I think you have announced another video about the setting possibilites in the video above. Is it available somewhere yet? If I have problems with the setup where could I get help or ask questions? Thanks!
There are video instructions in the account dashboard once you purchase. Updates are included. If you have any questions or help setting this up, you can email me, send a message in my Facebook group (Design with Cracka) or messenger.
Annual subscription taken here. Looking forward to further updates and material throughout the year. Great material, especially for learning. One note, to change the postid- of the template can be done in Visual Studio Code by replacing it directly in the JSON file, in the same way searching and replacing.(Only in Bricks, not valid for Oxygen). I also think that colours, borders, border radius and backgrounds would be better not to be managed with variables, to let the user choose freely and give his taste with the builder tools. Congratulations Cracka
Hi Cracka i love this version but is there also a horizontal menu version coming in the near futuer (with mega menu functions? that will become an offcanvas menu for tablet and mobile?
@@DesignwithCracka Apparently, the content is not displayed in builder edit mode mobile breakpoint, but I checked on my phone and it appears. I can edit in desktop breakpoint and everything is perfect.
This looks pretty good but I have a some questions. 1. Will this work as an off canvas menu with slide or push functionality? And as such, can it be triggered to enter the page directionally (top, bottom, right, left)? 2. Can I add other bricks native components like accordian, tabs, or carousels? 3. Can I set this menu to have a persistent footer or other static content across all levels without duplication? 4. Can this menu be styled with using ACSS? 5. Are there any compatibility considerations for those who are in the ACSS/Frames ecosystem?
1. Currently it works only as advertised. but it's easy to modify it to work as off canvas on desktop, slide. Future updates will bring these options with push animation. Just left and right for now, I don't think it's a good idea for a menu that tall to come in from top or down, unless on mobile. 2. Yes, you can add any type of Bricks component inside the menu, as I demonstrated in the video by adding a gallery. 3. For now, the footer isn't persistent. That will be explored in future updates. 4. Yes, you can replace all the values in the variable declarations with ACSS values. 5. This is just like any Bricks element, so it works with any framework and design elements.
thanks for the reply @@DesignwithCracka. regarding #1) for now, could i place this element inside bricks' off canvas to achieve this. presumably i'd have to adjust any conflicting or redundant interactions such as the trigger/toggle, perhaps? and as far as the directional, i WAS referring to mobile. i would like to have the option to control how the menu transitions in at mobile break point. top down right left and even fade in from center would be appropriate and desirable in this context, no?
Thank you very much! That looks great! I live your work and your ideas ❤ I’m looking for a good menu for bricks - but there shouldn’t be a hamburger icon on the desktop. I would like a normal navigation bar. Otherwise, I think that some visitors may be overwhelmed with this menu. Mobile, however, this solution is very appealing 😊 I cannot yet assess whether this tool could solve my problem („no reasonable mobile menu“). … And are the first 50 customers already booked or is there still the discounted offer of membership? But there are no components yet, right?
Thank you. There is still discount for the membership. There are a lot of definition for a good menu; one solution doesn't usually fit all. Do you have an example of what you have in mind? Join our Facebook group 'Design with Cracka' and post links or example of the type of menu you need.
@@DesignwithCracka 120 is the discounted price, right? What will be the normal price of membership? And when will content be available? I’m thinking of a simple but also „pretty“ menu, maybe something like the standard breakdance menu. But at the same time also accesible. The Bricks menu is somehow not very great. Especially visually. I also have ACSS and FRAMES, but there are no good (pre-designed) mobile menus there yet. With this template here, I would have to - if I want to have a normal menu on the desktop - create two versions and display the different ones depending on the breakpoint, right? Would that have an impact on SEO?
@@markusrichterfotografie7484 120 is normal price. Discounted is 72. I’ll be adding contents about once or twice every month, in some cases once in two months. The goal is to add quality, not quantity.
Just bought it. Works fine and smooth. An unstyled version just like for the sidebar navigation would be awesome. It’s a tread to reset the styles there.
Where do we ask questions about this? What about bookmarks.. can these pages after sliding be bookmarked by viewer's browser? SEO? I realize I could make use of query loop inside of a panel, but is there a way to add predetermined top level panels right in the json file? Do you have plans on implementing the wp menu system? Atleast for top level panels.
1. You can ask questions about this in the Facebook group 'Design with Cracka' 2. Those are not pages, so they can't be bookmarked just as a menu dropdown can't be bookmarked. 3. I'm sorry I don't understand the question 4. You can add WP menu in the home panel, but it doesn't support flyout, only the top level menu. I'm considering the option to be able to use Bricks WP menu element as a trigger for the slide, but still, it can't support WP menu second level flyout, the menu items in the second level will have to be a separate WP menu created as sub set of another menu.
Hi and thanks for this, I've found out this component (template) is not RTL compatible. I see we can change the position to the right side, but then the menu and icons should be the opposite way for the actual RTL layout. Could you please confirm that?
It's highly customizable, the idea wasn't to make right menu RTL, if you need RTL layout, you could easily swap the position of the icons and menu either manually or by using CSS flex-direction reverse, then change the auto margins. But I think it makes sense to make the right header location, so in the next update I'll make it RTL compatible.
Is this menu navigable through the use of arrow keys? Including dropdowns?
Would be great if we can do something like this in Breakdance.
Keep up the good work! Very nice.

I mean when using Menu Nav element (WordPress Menu).
Just like Bricks mega menu, you have to build the menu items manually. You can alway plays a WP menu inside any of the slide panels.
