Unpack & preassemble All of the kids toys! & do that w out any way! Of the kids being present! & then while you are assembling Let mom wrap those empty boxes up But w out the toys inside! Instead pack them w brand new clothes That mom bought for them Like socks & underwear & other new clothes & maybe running shoes & such stuff & when the kids open those presents Christmas morning They will immediately say awhhhhhhhh! Clothes!!!! & That's your cue! For you & mom to be heroes! When you now bring in! The already assembled toys As they are the kid's toys! Right! & if you don't do that Then of course They are gonna wanna check the parts out Duhhhh & they'll try to immediately assemble them Right! & then you don't have to say Hey leave that alone! Before you lose a part! & when you say that! Then are the toys really theirs! Huh? HuH? HUH? Haha As Christmas is for the kids! Not so much! For us old folk/people & cause I live way way up here!
