This! I'm not a native Italian speaker but I can speak it and I thought her pronunciation was pretty good assuming she's never spoken it before! The fact that she made an effort is awesome!
I don't completely agree, one of the great things of the original song is the articulation of the words, how they are chosen not only for their meaning but also for their sound and musicality and Damiano does it very good while singing. So with this accent it doesn't really give justice to the song. I'd have appreciated more this cover if this band had added something personal, like some personal lyrics at some point or some particular sounds. I think that's the definition of cover, it's taking something and making it yours. Exactly as Maneskin did with Begging. So yes, I'm not saying it's a bad cover, and she sings in Italian very good for sure, but considering how it is composed I'd prefer some personal lyrics to make it fit better in an American/English band

I'm italian and THIS WAS ON THE NEWS SOME MINUTES AGO! 😭❤ I can't believe Italian music is becoming SO FAMOUS around the world! YOU GIRLS ARE REALLY GOOD! ❤🇮🇹
It sounds just like modern American country music to me. I live in Oklahoma and I can put the radio to "The Twister" which is a station that plays songs that are a combination of rock and country and all the music sounds almost exactly like this to me. So I think that the only thing that makes this music Italian is the fact that the lyrics are sung in the Italian language. Other that that it's just modern American country music of the country-rock genre. I realize that my comment will sound to you like I am just an American who is trying to claim that everything good comes from America. Nevertheless, it's still true that this type of music has been in America for 25 years.
what was the news? "We interrupt our coverage of King Charles funeral for some breaking news: Badass Korean Girl rockers RQ are just said to be absolutely shredding Zitti E Buoni in Italian as we speak. Paolo can you tell us what's happening on the ground? Do we know if anyone has died yet?"
@@jlrutube1312 haha you obviously know nothing about Italian music. There are plenty of rock bands and artists in Italy. Really loving this band right now, and even imported a copy of Fighting from Korea which arrived yesterday (I am from the UK btw)
우와! 이거 뭔가요?!!! 원곡도 들어 봤는데 분위가가 완전 다르네요. 비주얼 적으로도 멤버들의 헤어스타일이나 의상이 더 컬러풀 하지만, 음악 자체도 훨씬 풍성하고 생동감있게 만들었네요! 복면가왕으로 롤링쿼츠 알게 되었는데, 지금 우리에게 이런 록밴드가 있어서 행복합니다! Wow! What is this?!!! I listened to the original song and the atmosphere is completely different. Not only the visuals of the RQ members' hairstyles and costumes are more colorful, but you made the sound itself much richer and more active! I got to know Rolling Quartz through The King of the Masked Singer, and I feel so happy we have a rock band like this!
As Italian, I love it. Pronunciation is not a problem. First of all, the music is international... F**k the pronunuciation. Italian is not a difficult language XD it's one of the easiest for European at least. Sound-wise/Pronunciation is really easy, so learning songs is piece of cake. I might be biased because I'm polish, so we have most sounds in our language that are used in European languages. But French and Spanish are more difficult than Italian and still easier than Portuguese, Hungarian or Greek xD
@@MaraMara89 grammarly speaking is probably one of the most difficult european languages, moreover it's very challenging to master the pronunciation bc there's are many different varieties , and in måneskin's case they use the dialect of Rome, which includes a lot of elisions of words ( "questi portoni" standard > " 'sti portoni" Rome dialect = these doors) that you won't find in some other Italian dialects
@@emiliuccia1593 nice fact about song being in dialect - didn't know that. I was talking (writing) mostly about pronunciation and learning how to sing a song. @@Bannysadkosays2u Don't get me wrong, I'm a massive Band Maid and Lovebites fan as well, but I think the original comment was in reference to a Korean band singing in Italian (instead of their native language or English) :)
@@AnoukiMorgenstern yes yes yes
Thats totally what i mean
why are people shitting on her pronunciation…she’s not a native speaker. she enjoys the song and wanted to cover it. don’t listen to it if u don’t like it lol
@@MrIcarusEl Nope, not good at all. I'm an Italian native speaker. By the way, the cover is nice so pronunciation it's not a huge problem. It sounds good anyway
@@susannalovisolo507 So sorry for the confusion but that's what I kinda, it is pretty good as in it suits the cover nicely. It's not perfect but I liked it and thought it was nice for a first effort:)

@Valeria Gargy Nothing wrong with trying to sing in a language that's completely different from theirs, what's ridiculous is the amount of clowns saying their pronounciation is amazing, which is objectively false.
That's the point : i don't try. Or at least i try when someone gave me a feedback telling me that the accent was almost perfect before releasing it. What a silly counterargument.
This is a very difficult song to perform live and twice as much when it’s not in your native language. Y’all are more impressive each time! ❤️🔥🤘🏼🎸

I’m italian, your pronunciation is good, only a few words are a “little strange” 😜, but Italian is a difficult language. Good job girls!
