Now, you forgot to say, thanks to Keto and low carb for Golden Corral that you can demonstrate these cool things for us. Lol. Staying slim, and trim. Lol.
I swear I thought I remember the sound of the door closing once. Bo and Luke were getting into the General Lee from behind a bush, hiding the view. I would have to watch all the seasons (except "Coy and Vance" episodes) to be sure. But it doesn't seem like a mistake they would make -- If Bo or Luke accidentally did open the door to get in, the door closing sound would have been erased from the soundtrack before the episode aired, right?
@@williamjones7821 actually, there is an episode where that happens, the camera is mounted on the hood and you can see both the driver and passenger seats and you see Luke come into frame, then you hear a door close. It’s Season 2, episode 1, “Days of Shine and Roses.” I believe around the 38:48 mark. Feel free to double check me.
@@Aaron-ok6vt yep, for sure! Mine actually had a piece of the passenger’s side trim (on top of the rear door panel) that was broken off and my buddy lost 3 pairs of jeans to it back in high school😂😂😂
@@ottodierksheide755 stay tuned! I actually plan on showing two versions of how to do quick getaways in the General Lee😂. May be once warm weather hits again, but I’m definitely working on them😂
@GLRESTOMOD be careful, the general is your car but just be careful not to hurt the car or more importantly yourself. Me and my friends have messed around doing hood slides on our sh*t box cars and it usually dings up hood on our cars we don't care and pop it back out but for a care you care about might be a different story.
@ absolutely! Mine is more of a driver so once I get him restored I’ll still climb in and out the windows but will forego the hood slides, etc. In the meantime, I’ll still be as careful as I can! I appreciate the heads up!
@@MarkSmets-y6b great questions💪. As for the doors being welded shut, that’s part of the story line in the television series, so they were always entering and exiting through the windows. As far as your second question, I’m hoping I’ll get in and out through the windows! I’m also working in a fitness and nutrition channel for people who were made in the 80’s just like myself. Hopefully I can help other people in their 50’s or even older be able to enter exit General Lee just like this💪💪💪I’m currently 44, so 50 isn’t that far away🤙
So now now that I am a enter and exit professional, all I need is a General Lee
@@StephanieMaynard-q2n yep, thats all you need💪😂💪
Bo and Luke should’ve did one of these in the 80’s as a promo for the show.
@@GCREYNOLDS5150 definitely!

Nice video. Can you show us how to properly to the hood slide?

good one :)
He does it better now in his 40s to when we were in our 20s

When I was a kid we used to tell our mom to roll down the windows so we could get in and out like this.
@@seanskelton866 that’s awesome 💪💪💪
one advantage here, no rollbar, I always get my feet caught on the rollbar if i misjump

You’ve clearly put a lot of thought into the subject. 😂

Definitely remove the locks! If you don't it hurts and has been known to destroy blue jeans!

Who came up with the idea that doors don’t open? and what are you going to do when you’re over 50?
