Thank you for the tutorial, I found it helped me. Here are a couple suggestions. It was a bit fast for me, so I had to pause and rewind a lot and I suggest spacing a little longer or slowing down a little bit. For a new person looking at After Effects, like myself, it would be helpful to point out a few things we might mess up. For instance, if you lose the stroke field for an object how to get that back. Or how to change between object types on the bar if they don't match what you are looking for. Thank you again.

Very good video! It was a little fast but I was able to rewind and catch everything. The only thing I had issues with was the sprites at the end. I couldn't figure out how to get the circle to only appear at the end. Mine was showing up the whole way through the animation. I'm probably just over looking something or still too new to figure it out lol. Either way thanks for a great intro!

I'm watching this over and over at 0.5x speed lol. It's a good tutorial but yeah the pace is hard to follow. Definitely requires pausing frequently and rewatching where the mouse is going and what is being selected.

hey, wanna ask about why when i copy glow logo effect to the circle animation, why it doesnt work?

Once I've added the wave shaped mask and added the two keyframes I can't change the shape of the wave as it won't let me edit individual points anymore, will only seem to let me select the whole mask shape. How do you go back to editing the individual points on the mask shape for the first and second keyframes? I think there's something you missed there offscreen like a keyboard shortcut or tool selection.
EDIT - ah damn had accidentally hit the tick box under "mask feather" which was preventing me editing points.

when i anchor the last circles, the anchor point it's the center of the logo and when i scale them, it uses the center of the logo... i can't seem to get passed this. need help please

Obvious yes! Not a beginners video for sure. I was trying look things up that he was talking about and now I give up😂😂 it started with the ellipse and mine was a rectangle and didn’t know how to change it to an ellipse. I’m way too much of a beginner to be able to keep up

Yes this one was geared a little more towards those with a little experience. To change the rectangle tool to ellipse, just press and hold on the tool icon.

Yea it’s hard. I make short, concise and to the point tutorials and it’d be a much longer video if I had to explain every single thing.
